Salman will NEVER Kiss On-Screen

Gone are the days in Bollywood when romance in Hindi films was expressed through pecking pigeons or fondling flowers. Today kisses have become common phenomena in films. Neither the actors think twice before indulging in the act, nor does the audience raise eyebrows on sight of smooch anymore.

It's no more the small time actors but even A-grade stars are now open about kissing onscreen. In recent times, Akshay Kumar's 10 lip-locks to Kareena Kapoor in Kambakkht Ishq made news. At the same time Kareena's boyfriend Saif Ali Khan was seen kissing Deepika Padukone in Love Aaj Kal . Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra shared sizzling chemistry in Kaminey through their passionate smooching.

The current buzz is that Vivek Oberoi has as many as half-a-dozen lip-locks in his forthcoming film Prince where he will be seen romancing Nandana Sen, Niroo Singh and Aruna Moorty. In fact sources insist that one particular kiss between Vivek and newbie Aruna, shot on a bridge overseas, is soooo long, that it's bound to make headlines. Then we hear that Pooja Bhatt has convinced Himesh Reshmmiya to lock lips in Kajrare .

But amidst all these kisses, there are two names that will never feature on the list. And for all those who believe that a smooch is the key to success let us tell you that these two personalities are the most successful names in Bollywood.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know who we are talking about. We are hinting at the mighty Khans. Of course it doesn't include Aamir Khan who is known to have a reputation of kissing his costars in films like Raja Hindustani, Rang De Basanti and Mela . It's Shah Rukh and Salman who have never lip-locked in their individual films so far. And come to think of it, they are known to be the biggest lover boys of Bollywood.

Shah Rukh Khan certainly is known as the King of Romance in Bollywood. From Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Devdas, Chalte Chalte, Kal Ho Na Ho, Veer-Zaara, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna to Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi , he and his mushy candy floss films have been the epitome of romance in Bollywood.

Coming to Salman, this Khan has been known for his well-toned physique which complements an action hero image. But going by his filmography he has been more associated with love stories. From his first hit Maine Pyaar Kiya to Tere Naam, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and many more, Salman Khan is yet another superstar who has been associated with romantic films... romantic comedy rather.

Yet, like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman too hasn't ever lip-locked in his films.

In fact there were films like Maya Memsaab and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna where Shah Rukh got physically intimate with Deepa Sahi and Rani Mukherjee respectively but Salman has not even been that close to comfort with an actress. So Salman is even one step ahead of Shah Rukh when it comes to inducing onscreen romance without getting up, close and personal.

For statistical corroboration, as per records at Madame Tussauds, the wax statue of Salman Khan is more kissed and photographed as compared to Shah Rukh or any other Bollywood celebrity over there. 👏😃👏

Like Shah Rukh, Salman too has quoted that he would never indulge in a lip-lock in any of his films.

I am happy that Salman has stuck by his word and never done kissing on-screen.He declined to kiss in Marigold and Maine Pyar Kiya too.
