Wow hun you have great GCSE grades!! Thanks 😊

I'm with Rukhaya-med students need atleast 2 sets of 2 weeks of work experience in the medical field that you wish to study at uni. OK cool I didn't know it had to be that specific
Btw I think rukhaya is doin 4 A levels, Chem, bio, maths and englishlit&lang is one subject if i'm not wrong? :S Cos most schools won't let you take Eng lit AND lang if it's seperated in to 2 different subjects. Aha i understand
P.S: Maths isn't as useful, you could do Italian too, It'd defo help with the communication barrier with patients and stuff. :) Yeah I was thinking that 😊
Ah I feel really bad for you, you have to do your 4 A levels, UKCAT, medicine interview at all 4 unis AND a medicine entry test at oxbridgee! :| lol Make sure you work hard from day 1-so many of my really smart friends regret not doing that from the beginning. =( Lol but Im sure it'll be worth it in the end

It will be useful to look at some university websites and see what their requirements are for applying to medicine... but Chemistry is 100% essential Yeah the problem with that is it says Maths is "useful" so Im trying to find out how important it is 😕Well u cud get in2 medicine without an A level in maths =p tht probs give u some idea as to how important it is Good so it can't be that important but then everyone ive talked to has done Maths Do what u want... as it is not neccessary to do maths at A level to get into medicine, it comes down 2 ur choice... do it if u want and if u don't want to then don't... never go into something just because someone said so... u're the one who will have to go through it not them... Yeah I know what you mean you shouldn't take a subject for 2 years if you find it boring, but if you need it then I'd rather just put up with it then not get into uni
I'm not doing Maths at A level... I have deicded to drop it and carry on with English Lang & Lit 2nd yr because I enjoyed it more in 1st yr... that is another thing... studying the subjects in ur 1st yr of college will really help u a lot as to wht subjects u wud lyk to carry onto 2nd yr... so if u are really unsure if u shud choose maths or not, u cud actually choose maths for 1st yr... if u like it u cud carry on with it 2nd yr onto a full A level and if u don't then drop it and continue wid ur other subjects including the subjects u definitely need for medicine which are the 2 sciences - Chemistry and Biology... Yeah problem with that is then I'd only do 3 A2s instead of 4
