Pavni is 17. She is a carefree young girl. She tries to be a good daughter and a very loyal friend. She is not a rebel' she wants to follow the rules but at the same time she is not a conformist. Pavni carves her own path against destiny's interventions. Pavni wants to be the BEST the FASTEST runner of India. She dreams of winning an Olympic medal for India. Running solves her personal problems. Pavni likes to win. She wants to do something no one has. Sports is in her genes, though she does not know it in the beginning of the story. She believes she is born to run. Ultimately Pavni inspires a whole generation of girls into sports. | |
Ravikant Dixshit | |
Pavni's father is Principal of Adarsh Model School. He gave up his career and city dream just to keep his father's word and to keep his dream running ..that's Adarsh Vidyalaya. In the town of Palampur, he is a man of respect and high principles. His wife deserted him years back and now he lives for his daughter Pavni.An inspiration for his daughter, Ravikant is often caught between Pavni's ambition and Dadi's staunch opposition of it. | |

Dadi | |
Pavni's grandmother is a woman of strong will and reputation. She has her own achaar ka business where she is supported by her daughter, Sudha. Her only worry is her granddaughter Pavni, whom she loves immensely and has brought up like a mother. She knows Pavni wants to run but she doesn't allow this as she is scared that Pavni too might one day follow her mother's footstep and desert her family for her ambition. | |
Sudha bua | |
She is Pavni's bua - The nemesis in Pavni's life. Both of them can't stand each other. Sudha bua is flashy by nature and uses satirical words. Much of which is also reflected in the way she portrays herself, her appearance, ornaments etc. She also helps Dadi in her achaar ka business and both mother and daughter make good businesswomen. Her husband, Ashutosh Joshi, is a henpecked man who loves his wife to distraction. He gets along well with the Dikshit household. | |

Vigya Mishra | |
Vigya is Pavni's best friend. She is an ideal daughter to her parents and thus has every quality that Pavni's Dadi has always desired for Pavni to have. She is a well behaved, cultured girl with Indian values imbibed in her. Irrespective of her parents' tendency to show-off, she is always grounded and loves Pavni and Sarju very much. She is more like an elder sister to them. A dreamer by nature, Vigya loves music, food and wearing good clothes. She is always very presentable. She always helps Pavni whenever she's in trouble. | |

Sarju Dogra | |
Pavni's best friend; his father owns the Postman Caf-students' hub in Palampur. Though he is a grown-up, he is still a kid by nature and everyone calls him 'Dhilu'. He, alongwith Vigya and Pavni are called 'Vaanarsena' by Dadi for their mischief. | |
Siddhu | |
Siddhu is another runner from the Adarsh camp. He is an ardent fan of Dharmesh who lovingly refers to him as "keeda". Running is his passion and he derives motivation from Dharmesh. | |

Rizvi | |
Son of a baker, he is another strong pillar of Adarsh runners team. Loves to joke around and do shayari's. He tends to be a butt of of everyone's joke because of his shayari's. | |

Hiten Tejwani as Dev Sisodya:
Dev is an athlete that ran with Pawni's mom Shikha. He was accused of sharing a relationship with her, but was truly only a good friend. Dev has long black hair, dresses in athlete apparel or long coats, and uses a cane to walk. He is shown to the audience as a protagonist, however in the current track, it is difficult to tell if he truly is a protagonist, because of being seen with antagonist Illa Singh played by Kruthika Desai. (Possible Love interest of Pawni as the story progresses)

Krutika Desai as Illa Singh
Illa Singh is the antagonist of this show. She ran with Pawni's mother Shikha. A fellow athlete, and currently runs the Academy that Pawni attends. Illa Singh was said to have deprived Shikha of her well earned medal during their races when they were youths. She did so by accusing Shikha of having used drugs during the race.

Shikha Dixit:

A runner in her days. She dreamed of competing in the olympics and believe she can go through anything to make her dream come true. Shikha Dixit was kicked out of her house because of her accused affair with fellow runner Dev. Years later she is revealed to be in a Mental Asylum in Mumbai, taken care of by Dev. She was driven to insanity after being accused of using drugs and loosing her well earned medal. She is slowly recovering with the aid of her daughter and friend Pawni and Dev, respectfully.

Tanya Abrol as Paramjeet Kaur:

Paramjeet Kaur is a bubbly, vivacious, fun loving, go at it kinda of girl. She becomes Pawnis best friend and helps her through her problems at the Academy. She attends the academy to work on her weightlifting. A true sardani by heart and nature!

Ajay Singh Cahudhary as Dhruv:
Dhruv is Pawni's childhood friend that moved away. He comes back to Palampur and becomes Pawni's love interest, best friend, muse, and helper. He is there for Pawni 100% and loves her with all his heart. Dhruv comes from a wealthy background. Dhruv helps Pawni go to Mumbai and almost gets engaged to her. But, because of her dream to help and be with her mother, he sacrifices his love for her dreams. He ends up in Mumbai soon enough though, to become Pawni's support. A major protagnist and love interest.

Tanvi Thakkar as Lavanya Singh
Lavanya is the princess of the Academy Pawni attends. A very fast runner, and has set a record for the academy. She is the daughter of Illa Singh. A grey shade character. Faces competition with Pawni when she comes to the school.
