Salman helps Ashmit Patel by shooting special episode for actor's film

Salman Khan is a friend in need. The 10 Ka Dum host recently did Ashmit Patel a favour by promoting the actor's film Toss (released today) on a special episode of his show. This, even though Sallu has already finished shooting for all his episodes.
Our source said, "Ashmit met Salman at his Bandra home recently. He wanted to know if his film, Toss could be promoted on 10 Ka Dum. He told Salman that the film needed to be promoted in a big way. Salman willingly agreed."
Hitch breaker
The other hitch was that the film's marketing team had approached the channel earlier. But the talks had fallen through, then. "Salman, however, went out of his way and saw to it that yet another episode of 10 Ka Dum was shot. He not only convinced the television channel but also readjusted his dates to shoot the special show with Ashmit Patel and Rajpal Yadav," adds our source.
Ashmit confirms, "Yes it is true that I had gone to Salman's home requesting him if Toss could be promoted on Dus Ka Dum. I told him it was a crucial film of my career and I needed his help to promote it. I have known Salman since his Yeh Hai Jalwa days where was paired opposite my sister Ameesha Patel. I was about to start my career as an actor then."
Ashmit said that it was ar his producers' request that he met Salman. "They said that Toss needed to be promoted badly. It was then that I decided to meet Salman. I was initially apprehensive, as I had never asked anybody for something. I didn't want any kind of obligation. But I needed to do it for my producers."
