Rani Mukerji is Turbanator II

Mumbai: Rani Mukerji has modelled her look in her forthcoming film Dil Bole Hadippa on Harbhajan Singh -- in fact, Rani and the production team went through a lot of match footage of Harbhajan to get it just right. Needless to say, Harbhajan is flattered.

Harbhajan Singh talks to DNA on how Rani Mukerji's look in a film was 'inspired' by him and his own lack of filmy ambition.

"I attended a party earlier this month at the Taj Palace in Colaba hosted by Mukesh and Nita Ambani where I met Rani. She told me that she has imitated the way I look on the field in her next film. I recently saw a promo of the film on television and I must say that though she isn't looking like me at all, she looks like a perfect Sikh. And she's looking good! I'm sure that this one's going to be a winner because it's got a winning partnership -- Rani and Harbhajan," laughs the spinner.

Rani apparently had an extended chat with Harbhajan about the game. "She's quite interested in cricket. She even knew quite a lot about me and my career. I really never expected that," he adds. Now the two are planning to meet again, but this time in completely different circumstances. "She told me about wanting to hold a special screening of the film just for us (Team India) on September 17. I told her that since we have a South Africa tour coming up, we might not be able to attend the screening. Rani then even offered to juggle the dates a little because she really wants us to come and see the film first."

On his part, while Harbhajan is still in talks with a few channels to host his own chat show ("I'll definitely invite Rani on it!"), he's rubbished rumours that he's keen to do a Bollywood film. "Acting in movies is the last thing on my mind. All I'm thinking of right now is how to bowl the South Africans out. But I also want to watch Kaminey before we leave for the tour. I want to find out why everybody is talking about Shahid Kapoor."
