Hersh is so right. I'm a huge fan of Big B. Huge collection of his movies. This actor has all traits as him. New to watching the show. All I was thinking when watching his performance is how much he resembles Big B in looks somewhat but by all in acting, walking, actions.. A telly copy of him for sure.

Good observation, i was watching laawaaris 2day n found that Darshan Pandya's (Adi) mannerisms r just like AB.Further both r fair complexioned n seem 2 be related

I agree. Was watching Silsila the other day and his walk is like AB

Sorry guys - but being compared to Amitabh Bachan for acting skills is not a compliment...We live in the US - and most desis here despise Amitabh and his overacting and his off screen persona also...since we are used to seeing more non-bollywood films we see Amitabh has being over rated and quite incompetant as an actor even compared to his peers (Shashi Kapoor, Rajesh Khanna) because the Big B or whatever always has acted as himself rather than the character he is playing...anyway - The actor who plays Aditya in this show is excellent and comparing him to Amitabh is not so hot...infact I would be embarassed.

PS - Shahrukh is in the same boat as far as acting skills go...and yet both actors are so beloved in India and other third world countries - its amazing. I know I am being overly critical but this is a forum for ideas and opinions and this is mine.
