Much needed post.

I think it's really stupid how on india-forums, we have no sticky about Indian Independence Day till the day after and that too after being reminded.🤢

Pakistan ke independence day ki thread to bade shaan se homepage pe thi.....to forum ke naam pe India kiyun lagate hain???? i have no problem with pak thread but my problem is Why INDIAN Independent day thread wasn't here...and mods explanations so silly....Dont they know after editing thread doesnt remain GA ?

and where were threads.... in memu4u.......right now this thread has 313 views , this shows how many ppl visit memu4u ...... out of 4 lakh members ......

I was also wonderin y on Independence Day there is no Sticky on the Homepage....

just to add some more facts....

1) India is the world's largest Milk and Milk Products Producer.... The " operation flood " was started by Dr. Verghese Kurien....and today India is the world's largest milk producer....

2) India is the world's largest tea producer and consumer.....Apparently tea was invented in China...but today India is the world's largest producer and consumer......

3) The world's largest read English daily is " Times of India ".....yes it is not NY times or The Times...

4) India is the only country to have recognized 22 languages in its constitution... (source: Indian constitution on india.gov.in)

5) India is the 4th country to send a successful mission to moon...Chandrayan I

I was not born there, but my blood is from India, yet I do believe it is one of the most sacred and loving land in the world...

Family is from there, but when I go back, I feel so good....

Here are pics from India's first independence day, from my co-worker..(dont worry, he was not there to take these..😆)...
