Shahrukh's next tentatively titled Chak De

2005 didn't see much of Shahrukh Khan except for Paheli and a couple of guest appearances. But the king has some really big films in 2006. He has just finished his shoot for Karan Johar's 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna', which might possibly release in the month of July. He is starting his shoot for Farhan Akhtar's 'Don' very soon. As per him it is one of the best screenplays he has ever come across. Subsequently he will be shooting for Farah Khan's 'Happy New Year' in the month of August. The film is going to be his home production. Shah Rukh is also doing a film with director Shimit Amin of Ab Tak Chhappan fame. The film is tentatively titled 'Chak De' and its story is based on the Indian Hockey Team.

Doing all these life-size movies with some extraordinarily talented directors being in charge, this Khan seems to be all set to reclaim his throne of the ultimate king of Bollywood in 2006.

Shreyas bags another Subhash Ghai film

It seems a wonderful year for Iqbal fame Shreyas Talpade as he has bagged one more film of Mukta Arts. Showman Subhash Ghai's new find Sheryas Talpade aka Iqbal has been added in his next venture Apna Sapna Money Money, which has been directed by the Sangeet Sivan.

Speaking on the same director Sivan explained, "Shreyas plays an important role in the film but it is too early to reveal about his character. It is believed that the character is a late addition which was initially offered to Dino but as the role demands a simple look Shreyas fits the bill. Shreyas, who has been paired opposite Riya Sen is quite, excited working with Mukta arts again."

His forthcoming includes M.F. Husaain's autobiographical film The Making of the Painter which will start in December while Ghai's film should wrap up by March.

Akshay Kumar in a Punjabi Indo-Pak film

It seems Akshay Kumar is high on his career graph these days. He is not only working on big budget films but will soon appear in regional flick too. He will be seen in a Punjabi movie called Saanj Mohabaatane De. The film is shot in India and Pakistan, which is 30 percent complete. The star cast includes Muammar Rana, Irfan Kosatand Sana from Pakistan and Parikshit Sahani, Rana Jung Bahadur and Sumit Kang from India.
