Do tell us what PS/SS says. I don't have a copy of it.

I don't think anyone here is shipping Sirius/Petunia, we're just saying that she could have liked him, and I even highly doubt that. But that's what we're here for, right? To discuss the possibilities, even vague ones.

Petunia/Sirius - now here's food for thought. 😆

I dont think Lily ran away with James. It was more that Petunia did not APPROVE of her marriage.

I think he had only one bit of correspondence with her and she obeyed him out of fear or perhaps out of a sense of duty towards her sister's child. Petunia is very much concerned about what other people think of her and she will do anything to make a good impression.

not really. It's more like a sense of duty. Why would the Dursleys try to prevent Harry from attending Hogwarts? Its because they want to create an image of themselves in front of people as the average, NORMAL British family.

Leaving Harry in an orphanage would make them appear heartless and cruel.

she knows how Lily died, so she is the only Muggle harry knows who would truly understand the harm Voldy could cause.

perhaps Dumbledore showed her an image of someone being killed in the pensieve.

now this is is PURE SPECULATION on my part, but remember how JKR refused to say if anyone witnessed Lily and James' murder in Godric's Hollow?

Perhaps, Prof D. acquired this person's memory of the incident and showed it to Petunia. So maybe she will be able to give Harry a better clue as to the location of another Horcrux. If she knows and remembers the name of the person whose memory it was.

well, the weeks nearly over...so i think the conclusion is that petunia willl probably have a bigger part in the 7th book, i think 😳

I have this nagging feeling that come Book 7, the iciness and tartness of Aunt Petunia is gonna finally melt and she is gonna show some maternal love for Harry. That is what I ultimately wish for.....I don't give two hoots about Dudley and Uncle Vernon.

I'll second that I don't give two hoots or even one for that matter for Dudley & Vernon. I actually loved the part in OotP where Moody scares the Hell out of him, and in HBP where Dumby gives him the old two-three. 😉😆 I loved those parts would love to see them onscreen...... though I doubt I would be able to coz they are bound to get cut.
