Yes, Monica. And I am one of the most liberal cats ever. I have participated in many marches protesting the war and have participated in actions by my local ACLU chapter in protesting against Guantanamo Bay since 2003. So I am extremely sympathetic to a legitimate complaint. One of my best friends was getting married to this dude on a student visa and they went back and got married in his own country and then they were going to have a reception in her hometown in California 3 weeks later. He wasn't allowed to come back, and her marriage to the guy she loved had to be delayed for 6 months. I have seen and experienced prejudice. But he couldn't answer simple questions and they were just doing their job. In the end, it is about making sure everything benefits the multitude of citizens, not your bruised ego, to ensure safety of all.
I agree! I wouldn't mind, if they were trying to get the officials to stop detaining the innocent public for long hours, but in that case as you mentioned officials are just doing their job. Though I do see and welcome the other POV. In the matter with SRK he is getting more footage, than the real issue at hand.
