Sacchi mein. By the way, hi Monica. How are you? Did you see the thread about how SRK was expecting to get escorted to his car and is still complaining? I mean I have been profiled because I am not lilly white and live in a lilly white area mutliple times in my community and when I go to the airport, but I have not complained nearly as much as he has when I have much more legitimate grievances than he does. 66 minutes, cry me a river and get the wambulance. Wah wah.

I'm going to have to catch up, since we only moved 3 CC's. I'm just so not motivated to do anything.

Riya, can we do an MSN date tomorrow?!?!? Actually wait, SHOULD I CALL IN SICK AT WORK TOMORROW?!?!? I told them I'm giong to Florida and I'd be back on Wednesday. Obviously, since I got back today, I was going to tell them that I missed my flights and thats why didn't come in on Thursday. The question is, do I call in sick tomorrow, or perhaps make an excuse about being stranded at some airport? I'M SO EFFING TIRED!!!!! But this is an internship at the third largest oil and gas company in the world?!?!?

I agree. None of us complain. There is so many people that are detained early, but they never make it on the "Headlines" or "Breaking News". Yes, I did catch the thread. It's quite ridiculous. The media needs to get a life, and shame on SRK for letting this get too far. He could have been mature about it and made a clear point at the start declaring it, as a security measure, but nope someone expected to be escorted to the car.

Yes, Monica. And I am one of the most liberal cats ever. I have participated in many marches protesting the war and have participated in actions by my local ACLU chapter in protesting against Guantanamo Bay since 2003. So I am extremely sympathetic to a legitimate complaint. One of my best friends was getting married to this dude on a student visa and they went back and got married in his own country and then they were going to have a reception in her hometown in California 3 weeks later. He wasn't allowed to come back, and her marriage to the guy she loved had to be delayed for 6 months. I have seen and experienced prejudice. But he couldn't answer simple questions and they were just doing their job. In the end, it is about making sure everything benefits the multitude of citizens, not your bruised ego, to ensure safety of all.
