Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince! cool!
I'm sure most of you have had the chance to watch the movie by now... so here a few questions for you guys!
1. Do you think that they stuck to the original plot enough? Or did you find it maddening that they didn't include all of the memories or the fight scene at the end?

Obviously they should have stuck to the original plot but you kinow, the way David Yates has compiled the entire movie....it was not as bad like many interpreted. But one scene, I must say, was intolerable........Harry flirting with the muggle waitress at the begining.
2. What did you think of the new scene where the Death Eaters attack the Burrow?

Yes. I found that scene quite enduring. Especially the part of Ginny following Harry with Geyback behind her. Must say, I cried when the Burrow was burned.
3. Did you find Lavender just as annoying as she was in the book? 😆 Sorry, had to throw that in there :P

Well, her character was well-played by Jessie Cave. She aded some humour to the movie and I just couldn't stop laughing out loud. Well done Jessie! :)
4. Did you feel even the slightest bit sorry for Draco? I have to say, I teared up at the scene where he's crying in the bathroom :P And at the end, when he's trying to kill Dumbledore too :P

Apparently, he was the must-watch person apart from Ron in the film. Tom Felton is a brilliant actor and he portrayed the role of Malfoy really well. I felt extremely sorry for him and would certainly be glad to console him if I was Pansy Parkinson 😉. But, my motive behind watching this film was Tom Felton.
5. What did you think of the acting abilities of the following actors... Rate them on a scale of 1-10 and feel free to post your reasons too :P
- Daniel Radcliffe 6.5 (could have done way better than what he did.....he was superb in the Order of the Phoenix)
- Emma Watson 8.5 (Had wonderful screen-presence and her chemistry with Rupert Grint was smashing)
- Rupert Grint 9 (The film belongs to him, afterall!)
- Tom Felton 9 (😳 Just love him)
- Michael Gambon 7.5
- Alan Rickman 8.5 (As usual...bloody brilliant!)
- Jim Broadbent (Slughorn) 5.5
- Hero Fiennes-Tiffin (Young Tom Riddle) No Comments
6. What was your favourite scene in the movie?

Well.......I cried a lot when Dumbledor died and when the burrow was burned down. So you can say those were the best scenes. Also, the starting was well made.
7. What was one thing that you didn't like about the movie?

The part of Harry flirting with the muggle waitress.
8. Do you feel that the movie lived up to your expectations of it?

No. The real plot was missing. and the fact that there was no war amongst the Hogwartians and the Death Eaters real brought my mood down to a great level.
9. How many times did you watch it? :P

Till now........once. But hope to catch it soon again.
10. On a scale of 1-10 how much would you rate the movie?

7.5/10
11. Which character was your favourite throughout the movie?

characterS-------- Ron Weasley and Tom Felton.😆
12. What are your comments on the Felix Felicis scene? :P

Could have done way better.

13. Any other comments about the movie?

Well, David Yates could have brought in the spice with the plot like he did with the Order of the Phoenix.
Have fun!

1. Do you think that they stuck to the original plot enough? Or did you find it maddening that they didn't include all of the memories or the fight scene at the end?

I definitely would have preferred if they had included more memories and the battle especially. I thought the Muggle waitress bit was pointless.

2. What did you think of the new scene where the Death Eaters attack the Burrow?

I was dubious before seeing it but it was really thrilling and suspenseful and I think it helped the movie make sense, especially if you hadn't read the books.

3. Did you find Lavender just as annoying as she was in the book? 😆 Sorry, had to throw that in there :P
Yes! But that's a good thing.
4. Did you feel even the slightest bit sorry for Draco? I have to say, I teared up at the scene where he's crying in the bathroom :P And at the end, when he's trying to kill Dumbledore too :P

I felt so sorry for him!
Tom was amazing. The bathroom scene and end scene were really well portrayed, he was vulnerable and I really sympathised with him.

5. What did you think of the acting abilities of the following actors... Rate them on a scale of 1-10 and feel free to post your reasons too :P
- Daniel Radcliffe 9! 😆
- Emma Watson 9.5! 😊
- Rupert Grint 9.5! 😃
- Tom Felton 10! 😛
- Michael Gambon 9
- Alan Rickman 9.5
- Jim Broadbent (Slughorn) 8.5
- Hero Fiennes-Tiffin (Young Tom Riddle) 8.5
6. What was your favourite scene in the movie?
Harry and Cormac at the SlugClub
Love Potion
Draco

7. What was one thing that you didn't like about the movie?
Harry and Ginny's kiss, didn't like where it took place and it was a bit of a let-down 😕
8. Do you feel that the movie lived up to your expectations of it?
No but I had quite high expectations, I did enjoy it 😃
9. How many times did you watch it? :P
once but I will again 😊
10. On a scale of 1-10 how much would you rate the movie?
8.5/10

11. Which character was your favourite throughout the movie?
Draco!
Ron!
Bellatrix!

12. What are your comments on the Felix Felicis scene? :P
🤣
Dan was hilarious in this scene, I enjoyed it

13. Any other comments about the movie?
Awesome! Not the best so far but I definitely thought it was worth watching! The plot wasn't so good but overall the acting was fantastic!

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince!
My Views
[Will add edditional things later]

1. Do you think that they stuck to the original plot enough? Or did you find it maddening that they didn't include all of the memories or the fight scene at the end?

Yes in a way I was a bit annoyed but you know what, that is the beauty of the books...it gives one a reason to read them....it is impossible to fit every little scene in the movies like we all hope and as for the fight scene....I'd rather have one HUGE one in the upcoming movies....it would get repetitive otherwise😉😃
2. What did you think of the new scene where the Death Eaters attack the Burrow?

I know it wasn't in the book...but it wasn't exactly horrendous like everyone believes...at least there was so action somewhere in the movie😉
3. Did you find Lavender just as annoying as she was in the book? 😆 Sorry, had to throw that in there :P

Yes....she was just as annoying if not MORE annoying lol!!But, I wasn't bothered by it...seeing as Ron and Hermione are destined to be together😳😛
4. Did you feel even the slightest bit sorry for Draco? I have to say, I teared up at the scene where he's crying in the bathroom :P And at the end, when he's trying to kill Dumbledore too :P

Yes....even whilst reading the books I felt really sorry for him....he cannot seem to find his place in life....he believes that power will give him strangth and glory but power, if taken into the wrong hands, can ruin a person mentally/emotionally as well
5. What did you think of the acting abilities of the following actors... Rate them on a scale of 1-10 and feel free to post your reasons too :P

- Daniel Radcliffe
7/10:Nor have I been quite annoyed by his screen presence, neither have I been particularly impressed....but he is a good actor nonetheless😊
- Emma Watson
8/10:Loved the sentimental emotions and her feelings for Ron have become even more visible, which in what we are supposed to know and I thought she did a wonderful job conveying that👏
- ⭐️Rupert Grint
8/10:He has not only shown that he can be a serious actor, but one with charasmatic charm and comical appeal as well....which makes him well-rounded....well done Rupert...one of my favs in this movie!👏👏
- ⭐️Tom Felton
9.5/10:Many have praised his screen presence....I loved him,the critics loved him and the rest is history!👏But,really he has proven himself in this movie....he was spectacular....one of my favs as well!😳😃
- Michael Gambon
8/10:I don't know what it is about Micheal but I thought he did an exceptional job....I especially loved the cave and inferi scenes👏
- ⭐️Alan Rickman
9.5/10:Has Alan ever disappointed fans in a HP movie?I don't think that is even remotely possible lol!I love his portrayal of Snape and once again he did a brilliant job....I just didn't think the scene where he revealed his true identity to Harry was particularly powerful, but I don't believe it was his fault entirely....it was the suddenness and rushed scene that contributed to this lack of emotional appeal as well😕🤢
- Jim Broadbent (Slughorn)
7/10:He was good....he had some weird faces going on....but yeah he was good....I really don't have anything else to say about his portrayal....🤢
- Hero Fiennes-Tiffin (Young Tom Riddle)
8.5/10:I loved this kid!He was really creepy lol and right on the spot, I thought!I also enjoyed watching the older teenage version of Tom Riddle👏👏👏
6. What was your favourite scene in the movie?

Too many to count....but I loved all the Quidditch scenes because we haven't seen Quiddich in forever even though I was disappointed that the game literally lasted five seconds😡

7. What was one thing that you didn't like about the movie?
LOL it may sound weird but I always believe all the HP movies should be at least/if not more than three hours long...there is just too much going on for them to leave the movie at a wimpy two hours and thirty-three minutes😡

8. Do you feel that the movie lived up to your expectations of it?
No...not entirely but it is ok...it happens😃
9. How many times did you watch it? :P
Twice....I will plan to watch it many more times once it comes out on DVD😛😳
10. On a scale of 1-10 how much would you rate the movie?
8.5/10😉
11. Which character was your favorite throughout the movie?
Hmm...that is a hard one...but I would have to say Draco...because he was always a two-dimensional character and this book/movie has transformed that view for us😃
12. What are your comments on the Felix Felicis scene? :P
LOL!!Too funny...Daniel was awesome in these scenes "Siiiiirrr"😆
13. Any other comments about the movie?
I am just hoping that the next two movies are right on the spot and don't leave out as many scenes as this movie did👏

!!HP ROCKS!!

1. Do you think that they stuck to the original plot enough? Or did you find it maddening that they didn't include all of the memories or the fight scene at the end?
I wanted to the fight scene at the end...I didnt mind the memories..they always bore me in the books as it is...
the fight scene is something I wanted though .. that too desperatly! And..I thought if they took out the whole Burrow fire..than maybe the fight scene could have been there..that was more imp..than the Burrow fire i think...
2. What did you think of the new scene where the Death Eaters attack the Burrow?
again..i think it wasnt necessary.. I think the end bit was more important.
3. Did you find Lavender just as annoying as she was in the book? 😆 Sorry, had to throw that in there :P

4. Did you feel even the slightest bit sorry for Draco? I have to say, I teared up at the scene where he's crying in the bathroom :P And at the end, when he's trying to kill Dumbledore too :P
Yes..i actually did..i felt like he really didnt want to do anything that evil and was only doing it for his family name and it hurt him .. i felt really bad..

1. Do you think that they stuck to the original plot enough? Or did you find it maddening that they didn't include all of the memories or the fight scene at the end?
I feel that they got the delivered the book and the main things that would be need for DH through. Also, I'm sure with the things they are missing (i.e Hufflepuff's cup) they will be able to incorporate it in DH and have it make sense.
2. What did you think of the new scene where the Death Eaters attack the Burrow?
I thoroughly enjoyed it, it was paced really well and that scene sets up why the burrow will need a lot of safety for DH very well.
Also, Bellatrix running around screaming 'I KILLLED SIRIUSSS BLACCKK'.. that was intense.

3. Did you find Lavender just as annoying as she was in the book? 😆 Sorry, had to throw that in there :P
In the book, I didn't care to think much about her character she was just there and her and Ron were just a fling. So, showing her annoying side probably illustrated how much better Hermione and Ron are better off together.
4. Did you feel even the slightest bit sorry for Draco? I have to say, I teared up at the scene where he's crying in the bathroom :P And at the end, when he's trying to kill Dumbledore too :P
I did. He was in a terrible situation, his family would be killed if he didn't carry out the deed. When he was crying I nearly fell apart. I liked how we got to see in crying instead of Myrtle talking about it.
5. What did you think of the acting abilities of the following actors... Rate them on a scale of 1-10 and feel free to post your reasons too :P
- Daniel Radcliffe 7.5
- Emma Watson 7
- Rupert Grint 8
- Tom Felton 9
- Michael Gambon 9
- Alan Rickman 10 (anyday)
- Jim Broadbent (Slughorn) 9
- Hero Fiennes-Tiffin (Young Tom Riddle) 8 but teenage Riddle was a TEN!
6. What was your favourite scene in the movie?
Harry on felix, everyone raising their wands to get rid of the dark mark and all the Snape scenes.

7. What was one thing that you didn't like about the movie?
Ginny tying Harry's shoe and Hermione making a joke about how Ron is okay with Harry/Ginny in the end.
8. Do you feel that the movie lived up to your expectations of it?
Indeed, David Yates = Godly.
9. How many times did you watch it? :P
Only once, I wanted to go Imax for the 2nd time but Imax in my city wasn't showing HP 3d. But I'm going again this week.
10. On a scale of 1-10 how much would you rate the movie?
8.5
11. Which character was your favourite throughout the movie?
Dumbledore and Snape.
12. What are your comments on the Felix Felicis scene? :P
omgharrypotter:
13. Any other comments about the movie?
I always believed in David Yates and Deathly Hallows (both parts) will turn out amazing! Also, I'm hoping for some HP oscar noms :)

Great topic :)
Have fun!

1. Do you think that they stuck to the original plot enough? Or did you find it maddening that they didn't include all of the memories or the fight scene at the end?

A)I really thought that the scene had to be included but they said that the creatives wanted to avoid repetition of the scene in DH..There is a fight similar to this in DH...So,I think I don't mind it much..But I hope the battle scene in DH would be the most spectacular thing ever shown in HP series..:)

2. What did you think of the new scene where the Death Eaters attack the Burrow?

A)I really thought it was not needed..But,then they just wanted to convey the message that Harry isn't safe in any part of the world..So that's O.K..But t'was really sad as the Burrow was destroyed:(
3. Did you find Lavender just as annoying as she was in the book? 😆 Sorry, had to throw that in there :P

A)Same...:D
4. Did you feel even the slightest bit sorry for Draco? I have to say, I teared up at the scene where he's crying in the bathroom :P And at the end, when he's trying to kill Dumbledore too :P

A)Same here...I teared up and I thought that Tom Felton had done this wonderful piece of acting..So natural..Really one of the best piece of acting ever seen in HP series!!
5. What did you think of the acting abilities of the following actors... Rate them on a scale of 1-10 and feel free to post your reasons too :P
- Daniel Radcliffe-9/10
-EmmaWatson-7/10(She didn't have a big part in the movie and hence..)
- Rupert Grint-8/10(He was fabulous in the comedy scenes..Haha)
- Tom Felton-10/10(Really!!This is the 1st time he had gotten sufficient screen space and he lived upto my expectations!!)
- Michael Gambon-7/10(I really do not find the J.K-Dumbledore in him..He's a bit well hmm....Serious)
- Alan Rickman-8/10
- Jim Broadbent (Slughorn)-9/10(First HP movie and he was kinda into the character to be v.precise)
- Hero Fiennes-Tiffin (Young Tom Riddle)-9/10

6. What was your favourite scene in the movie?

A)Well many actually...All are kinda funny and then you know I guess that Ron separating Harry-Ginny was soooooo LOL..:D
-Felix-Felicis ofcourse...
-All Draco scenes coz of Tom Felton..Hehe..:D
-Ginny feeding Harry and tying his shoe laces...I found that incredibly cute..
-When Harry first notices Ginny and then when they hug..Awww..
-Then the most spectacular one-QUIDDITCH and Ginny consoling Harry after Dumbledore's death....
-The cave and the starting scene...Mainly coz of the effects....
-Not to forget Harry-Ron scenes...Really funny...Especially the one on the bed and in the office..LOVELY!!

7. What was one thing that you didn't like about the movie?
A)I didn't like what they did to HG romance...I wish they had stuck to the book and then Ginny's character was supposed to be funny and lively but in the movie she was kinda dull...

8. Do you feel that the movie lived up to your expectations of it?

A)Yup...It was the best in the series so far..It was funny, effects were great, romance was good....All in all great movie with wonderful piece of acting...
9. How many times did you watch it? :P

A)Sadly one once..:(
10. On a scale of 1-10 how much would you rate the movie?

A)9..Cut one coz of HG romance..

11. Which character was your favourite throughout the movie?

A)Ron-He was incredibly funny...

12. What are your comments on the Felix Felicis scene? :P

A)Wonderful...Every bit..Harry!!-SIR!!...And then the Pincers.."Tsk tsk"..LOL!!
