In white is Bhairavi (Choti Maa)

And the next pic is maaji and bapuji with a baby (Pankaj?)

This could be a pic from an upcoming episode

Maybe they'll show a flashback of how Pankaj became blind

And Choti maa looks troubled and in white, so also how Uday lost his dad?

But then the baby could also be Uday then....

Hmmm..... Can't wait

These are pictures of episodes last week when Pankaj's parents explain to Jyoti the reason for Choti ma being so strict and how she became so close to Pankaj. I think it is the Wed or Thurs. episode.

This was from the episode last week when cm confronted Jyoti for selling her jewellery. Pankaj's mom took Jyoti aside later and told her the story of how cm became attached to Pankaj.

Essentially, when cm's husband Kailash died, she was almost a zombie, sitting on her bed all alone. Pankaj's parents did their best to console her. Finally they put Pankaj (the baby) on her lap, and she started crying. They then realized that she was pregnant, and later gave birth to twins - Uday & Minal. (Of course, that begs the question of whose brother Pratik was - Pankaj's or Uday's? I thought that Pankaj & Minal were Gayatri's, and Uday and Pratik were Bhairavi's.)

They might show in a future episode how Uday lost his dad. Maybe in a conversation b/w Uday and Sudha, where he tells her that he lost his dad, and she tells him that she (and Jyoti) lost their mom (something she'd have to find out from KK).

But still, I don't think Choti Maa is harsh

When you watch alltheother hindi soaps, there's always character likeher who wants the mainpersona's downfall andare totally evil

She's rationalandcaring, and in the end,always looks out for her family. She doesn'tblameeverything on Jyoti just because she is avaliable

I think it was mentioned that Prateek was Pankaj's brother. ButIdidn'tknow Uday and Minal were twins

I agree, and she occasionally does defend Jyoti. Like the other day, when Kalpana and her mom took Jyoti & Pankaj away on that ceremony and Longshree began gossiping on why Jyoti's own parents didn't come, cm asked her whether or not she had anything better to do. Similarly, when discussing Devika, cm pointed out how Jyoti had legitimate reasons for not wanting her family at her wedding, and Devika might too. I too think cm is fair to Jyoti, but the one thing against her is that she allows propriety to trump one's emotions. An admirable quality that Jyoti could use, particularly wrt Padma and Sushma.
