I have been seeing lately that people are being admonished for expressing their views about characters in this show. I don't understand why? Aren't we all allowed to have our opinions about the different characters and posting our views? This seems to be happening only when someone posts something about Hit-mi. Haven't there been people who have called DM arrogant and egotistic and Santo stupid and vampish, no one protested then, so why are people being criticized for calling Hiten and Khemi selfish and arrogant if thats their view of the character. And why should anyone apologize for posting their views about a character?

Forums are meant for discussion and sharing ones views, and that means sharing positive and negative things about the characters, so why should anyone be offended by that? It's not like anyone is personally attacking the forum members or saying anything derogatory about them, we are just discussing characters of a TV show.

And why this insistence on an apology? If you think your comment is going to hurt someone and you care about not hurting them, then don't say it - what's the point in saying something that you know might hurt someone and then apologizing for it - the damage is already done by then.

IF moderators - Are there any rules/guidelines against posting our views about characters of a TV show as long as there are no personal attacks against forum members and no bad/obscene language is used?

@ sg08.....

agree with u on this issue....i think the forum is gettin more and more agrgressive regardin the hit-mi issue......

i think the mods should make note of this tht it is only A TV CHARACTER and not AN ACTOR we are discussing here.....

and i think tht is wht the forum is for.....

people may have different views about hit-mi but tht does not mean that we should be always under scrutiny for our thoughts on the CHARACTER(S)...

if we remember some of us hated maulik in the bgn....but when he went to the rehab center..... many of us had some symathy with his charatcter....
so guys at the end its just a serial....and is fiction.....hence we should not take the remarks on the characters too personally...nor these comments should affect our daily lives in any way...this is just a discussion forum and we should not take these comments seriously as they are just are thoughts....

I think you are right. They are just characters. Where is the fun if we cant say what we think, obviously there is a line you shouldn't cross. The fun in discussion is seeing two sides of a debate if you started shutting people down because you don't like what they said then people will start coming to the forum because no one will what the right thing to say anymore. There is nothing wrong in my opinion in harshly criticizing characters as they are just imaginary.

@sg08

Admonishing is a harsh word and using it in the title of the thread is misleading as is seen in the following posts. You have not clarified who admonished whom and your whole post is very generic.

If you have a personal issue please PM me to get the matter resolved along with a link to the thread or a forward of the PM via which you have been admonished.
