Mumbai: It's a cause that they all believe in and the mission is serious. Thirty celebrities from Bollywood and the small screen have joined hands to help raise AIDS awareness.

They are doing it in a way they know best — performing in front of the camera with a TV series called Haath Se Haath Mila.

Presently the celebs are shooting for a music video to promote the series.

Says Bollywood Director, Kunal Kapoor, "We are not holding hands because we love each other, we are doing this because we want to spread the message of AIDS."

However, actor Ashmit Patel adds voices a concern. "I just hope that the message doesn't get down because of all the personalities involved," says he.

Nonetheless, most of the celebrities involved feel that the video will go far in creating awareness about the dreaded disease.

The lyrics for the song have been written by Javed Akhtar and the music has been composed by Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy. Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal have sung the song.

The video will hit TV screens by the end of February and the makers hope with so many faces, the message will finally reach the masses.

'Bluffmaster' firm at number one on music charts
New Delhi: The film may have flopped, but "Halla re" from "Neal 'N' Nikki" is a hit and is back on the bestseller charts with "Right here right now" from "Bluffmaster" retaining its number one position on the list.

The top 10 Hindi songs are:

1. "Right here right now" - Film: "Bluffmaster"; Singers: Abhishek Bachchan and Sunidhi Chauhan; Music: Vishal-Shekhar. This rap song, which marks Abhishek Bachchan's debut as a singer, is fast turning into a money-spinner. Sunidhi Chauhan teams up with Abhishek in the slow and rhythmic number.

2. "Jhalak dikhla ja" - Film: "Aksar"; Singer: Himesh Reshammiya; Music: Himesh Reshammiya. The song has moved up on music charts and is number two this week. Reshammiya is going places as a singer.

3. "Jiya dhadak dhadak jaaye" - Film: "Kalyug"; Singer: Rahat Fateh Ali Khan; Music: Faisal Rafi, Rohail Hyat. The song, so reminiscent of the soft romantic numbers of the late 1960s and early 1970s, has slipped to the number three position in the last one week.

4. "Zinda hoon main" - Film: "Zinda"; Singer: Shibani Kashyap; Music: Shibani Kashyap. The film released this week and its title song, which was at number five last week, has stepped up to number four.

5. "Rang de basanti" - Film: "Rang De Basanti"; Singer: Daler Mehndi; Music: A.R. Rehman. It seems controversy has taken its toll on the popularity of the film's music - the title song is constantly moving down the list.

6. "Ada" - Film: Garam Masala; Singer: Sonu Nigam; Music: Pritam. This number with its melodious tune has struck the right chord with music lovers.

7. "Dil keh raha hai" - Film: "Kyon ki"; Singer: Kunal Ganjawala; Music: Himesh Reshammiya. Actor Salman Khan's popularity can be measured by the success of this song rendered by Kunal Ganjawala. The slow romantic number has become a permanent fixture on music charts.

8. "Aashiq banaya aapne" - Film: "Aashiq Banaya Aapne" Singer: Himesh Reshammiya; Music: Himesh Reshammiya. In spite of being there for months, the song is still selling like hot cakes.

9. "Neal 'N' Nikki" - Film: "Halla re"; Singers: Shweta Pandit, Salim Merchant, Irshad Kamil; Music: Salim-Sulaima. The song has energy and enthusiasm and is back on the charts.

10. "Khwaishon mein" - Film: "Holiday"; Singers: Kunal Ganjawala, Shreya Ghoshal; Music: Ranjit Barot. This opening number of the soundtrack is a blend of Western and Indian classical music and its lyrics are extremely soothing. Neelesh Misra builds the ideal romantic mood with his lyrics.
