Don's on TV now
Producer Sunjoy Waddhwa of Sphere Origins as well as Star Plus have been tight- lipped about their show Don since day one. Initially, they maintained that the thriller Don starring Parmeet Sethi and Deepak Qazir (who played Babuji in Kahanii Ghar Ghar Kii and Kasautii Zindagi Kay) would be telecast on Star Plus.
Surprisingly, however, the thriller is launching on Star One.
When contacted producer Waddhwa says, "Right from day one, we were clear about the fact that the show could be telecast on either channel; Star Plus or Star One. We were just waiting for the right time slot, which we have found on Star One."
The thriller seems to be following the fate of Le Jayenge Le Jayenge. This soap produced by Contiloe films was earlier slotted to launch on Star Plus. However with the non-availability of a suitable time slot, it shifted to Star One with its name changed to Yeh Dil Chahe More. Don is expected to be launched by the first week of February. It portrays Parmeet Sethi as a detective and has been shot on various outdoor locations.
