All of them are stupid...even Pavitra...The only almost smart woman would be Akash's mom...she's pro !:)))

Firstly she has done a great favor on mankind by not marrying.
Secondly does not cause any huge damage, occasionally makes bad/poor remarks, but they just sting for that moment but generally harmless.

Devyani was a great character in the beginning. Then they had to go and ruin her by having her insist on Akash and Gauri's wedding. She keeps saying how much she respects Gauri and how she wants the best for her. If that were the case, she wouldn't have forced her into this marriage with her son, who she knew was a sleazebag. She would have known that a marriage should not be based on threats, and that people don't instantly start loving and respecting each other just because they are married. She would not have used this marriage as a punishment for Akash. She has been rendered as stupid as all the other characters in the show, unfortunately.

Sulu, I think you're right. Phulki knows better than to get overly involved with her crazy family.
