I think she got married to him and doesnt sing too much anymore..she did sing some movie songs a couple of years ago, but thats about it.

I think she is more in religious songs now because when she got married to Gulshan Kumar they both got so many cassettes out and she also sang for movies !! Lately I have seen her on TV singing Bhajans than film songs !! She is still around !!

Bips, you are right. She had an affair, which she never admitted publicly at least. I loved her voice personally. And I thought it was much more pleasant to the ear than Alka's, which sounded more shrill in comparison. I wish she hadn't completely quit film music itself. It is a pity we couldn't hear more film songs from her.
