AMIT TO ACT IN CID SPECIAL BUREAU

Amita to act in CID Special Bureau
Amita Chandekar, who plays Malini in Piya Ka Ghar on Zee TV is all set to act in CID Special Bureau. She is going to play the character of Ashwini who is an investigating officer in the crime investigation department. According to Amita, "I have never played a cop before so I am very excited about my role in CID. I was always inclined towards acting. After doing loads of fashion shows in intercollegiate competitions I got my first break in Balaji's daily soap Kutumb and I learnt a lot in the process." Amita enacted a negative role in Kutumb, her debut serial. She has also acted in some popular TV soaps like Kamal on Zee TV with Ronit Roy, Qayamat on DD, Kya Hadsa Kya Haqeeqat on Sony and Kahi To Milenge on Sahara One.
