Remake 'Aaina' with Kareena and Priyanka

I was watching Aaina movie recently on TV and thought it would be nice to remake Aaina with today's actresses.

I think Kareena can play Amrita Singh's role very well (award winning role)

Priyanka will suit Juhi's role. Even Amrita Rao will look really good here

Arjun can play Jackie's role. Even Saif will suit too.

What do you think? Is it a good idea to remake this film? Who will do full justice to the role or even better?

IMO, I think classic movies should not be remade. Don and Umrao Jaan were remade, what happened? 😕both flopped. 🤢 All these producers and directors are just in a rush to make money. Hence, they don't make original films. But, to each his own

I don't think Priyanka will suit Juhi's role. Kareena and Priyanka are both sexy actresses, hence both will probably fit Amrita's role.

Aaina is one of my favourite movies.....really wouldn't like to see it re-made.

Juhi Chawla and Amrita Singh were perfect in Aaina. That was a nice film and would hate a remake!! I request filmmakers NOT to touch good films LOL.

i agree classics shouldnt be remade and moreover i dont think that story will suit todays times but yeha its a great movie .

I really don't think Priankya would fit Juhi's role. Honestly, remakes are never as good as the original.

Roma (Amrita Singh) and Reema Mathur (Juhi Chawla) are the daughters of Mr. Mathur (Saeed Jaffery), a wealthy business man. Growing up Roma had always been spoiled and gets everything she desires, and is a competitive child. Her sister Reema is quite reserved, and usually lets her sister take the spotlight. Both grew up to be entirely different, but the only similarity is that both sisters fell in love with the same man, Ravi Saxena (Jackie Shroff).

Always the center of attention, Roma caught his eyes first. Reema was heartbroken, but puts on a brave face. Both Ravi and Roma agreed to get married. Unfortunately, Roma is also very ambitious to get an offer to be a star in a film starting the day of her wedding. Therefore, she accepts and abandons Ravi minutes before their wedding. Ravi is furious and in turn, marries Reema instead, because he knew her love was pure although it may take time.

During their marriage their relationship was quite uncomfortable but Ravi soon falls in love with Reema. Unfortunately Roma comes back home in rage and tells them both that they will never be happy because she was betrayed. Determined to get Ravi back she is willing to do anything including ruining her sister's life....
