Kangana in Tanu Weds Manu !!

The film Tanu Weds Manu finally gets it female lead when Kanagana Ranaut agreed to come on board. Actor R Madhavan had already been signed on to play the film's hero in Aanand L Rai's movie which will be made under the Colour Yellow Pictures banner.

Tanu Weds Manu, which is said to be love story, is scheduled to go on the floors in the third week of September. The film is going to be shot on a start to finish schedule, with most portions being shot in North India. It seems Kanagana fell in love with the film's story and her character just like Madhavan had earlier. This film should be a change for Kanagan, who has mostly played heavy duty characters in her short career. This will be her first attempt at a romantic comedy and also the first time that she is partnering Madhavan in a film.
