Word charm often denotes the quality of attraction. Frankly what is most charming about a man or a lady?
Wealth, dressing, looks, character, behaviour, X Factor, mystery, goodness.
I love the eyes and the smile in a lady.

men if they are tender loving and caring. true "gentlemen" then that is a charming thing in them

girls i would say, yes looks do matter, in fact presentation (for guys also), then yes sweet smile, the way she talks and treats others. everything.

Wealth is definitely a huge attraction in most cases.

If there were two good looking guys with good character and one is wealthy and the other not most ladies would select the wealthier guy. Wealth does play a part as instinctively it gives comfort to the ladies that she will be able to achieve her dreams.

Oh I don't know about wealth... Seriously speaking, without being diplomatic... I would prefer my man to be able to bring me 20 roses with a heart rather than 20 cars just for the sake of an "expensive" gift!... Not that I wouldn't appreciate the latter as well, but lets just say, the former would 'charm' me more....

Hmm coming back to the question, in a man I'd go for his personality... That encloses pretty much everything, from humor to gentleness to manners to behavior to romantic aspects to status to looks... They often say personality reflects the type of being... The most charming aspect in a man is exactly that... And the moment we see him we can start to assess his personality... Guys out here, correct me if I am wrong... Then maybe, the next most charming thing is his character, which I guess encompasses the other aspects....

Just by the way, even if I am off topic, I find guys the most elegant when they are in suits and tie... There is nothing, for me, more charming than a gentlemen in suit and tie with a perfect combination of personality and character... I get most attracted to men in formal wear... I just feel they look so much better as such... ;))

Oh a woman I should say again her personality, but then for the guys, generally, not always, its probably about the looks and figure... But maybe that's a misconception too... I've got guys who've told me they never look for those in a woman... On the contrary, they want a woman who can cook like their mother, love like a mistress would and still be firm as a wife should... I don't know how true is that, maybe some of them round here can help!!... Hehehehehe

The smile yeah, the eyes also, maybe... I feel the best aspect a charming person has is also in parts, his way of speech and humor in it... If he's got the ability to keep you listening but still lets you have your say, then that's charming as well... ;))

Great topic!!... Maybe someday we can start another one: who's more charming? A man or a woman of the same age? Hehehehehe

Cheers,
Sneha

i know of a middle class girl who refused to marry a very very very very very rich guy who was also exceptionally good looking and also exceptionally intelligent bcoz she is the opp. of what he is.now i do call that girl stupid but i underdstand her point that with wealth also comes responsibilities and also a lot of lime light which many people do not like. so u see it does not work that way.

Yeah sort of if you want... I love men who are in a formal wear... I find it more daring, more professional, more romantic and more sexy altogether... Girls preferring men in slack jeans and black jackets on cool bikes are just myths... There is nothing more 'cool' than a man in a suit and tie driving a BM... or so I feel.... 😆😆

James Bond hmm yeah I sorta like Daniel Craig in some scenes... Although I find him too, lets say too inapt for some other scenes... But yeah, I like his style... Its like... Cool!!... 😳

Often when a person marries they also marry the family.
Often a woman may lose all her freedom and she has to sacrifice a lot.
Marrying too early and marrying late can make a lot of difference.
These days with people being more open minded I guess it is not so bad.
A couple of years back a quiet and peaceful nice lady killed her daughter in law(DIL) and
was sentenced to ten year imprisonment. The DIL must have provoked her and driven her off the edge.
