After spreading love on Kitni Mohabbat hai, Hiten Tejwani is all set to board Sony's Palampur Express.

Though Hiten is still known as Karan of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi he is now being recognised for his various other roles.

A source discloses, "As Palampur Express is having a tough time in the 8.30 pm. slot the production house is trying its best to attract audiences with new talent on the show. Now well known actor Hiten Tejwani has been roped in to help ramp up the ratings. Though his character is being kept under wraps, he will soon be seen in the show."

Further the source adds, "He will be seen playing a pivotal role in the show. He will come as a stranger in the show and will help Pooja Kanwal aka Paavni to reach her aim."

We contacted Hiten and he confirmed, "Yes, I am doing the show and people will see a different me. I am going to play a very important and unforgettable character in the show, but at this point I am unable to speak anything more about my character."
