Karan says Saath Rahega Always

Just friends

The buzz doing the rounds was that Karan and Neha who met on the sets of the show, hit it off as more than friends from day one. "There is definitely something brewing between the both. You must come on the sets and see the chemistry for yourself," said one of the actors on the show.

When we contacted Neha and probed her about the supposed romance, she said, "There is no doubt that I am fond of Karan. He's not only my co-star but also a very good friend. But I can assure you that there is nothing more than friendship to our relationship. In fact I am close with other guys as well, like Jatin (Shikar) and Jai."

In fact Marde added that if she settles down with anyone in the future it would be someone of her parents' choice. "I am a very traditional girl when it comes to such critical decisions. I am open to the idea of having an arranged marriage."

Not dating Neha

The actress was recently mobbed by fans in Calcutta asking her to perform in their city. "They want me to be a part of the stage show on Valentine's Day. But I am not yet sure about what I am doing on that day."

Karan Rai laughed it off when asked about his equation with Neha. "She is definitely a very sweet girl, but I am not dating her. I think the reason people are talking about us is because of the amount of time we spend together on the sets. I have a comfort level with her which comes across really well even in real life."

His real love

When further questioned, Rai finally let the cat out of the bag revealing the real love of his life. "If there is anyone who you can link me up with, then it has to be Aditi. She has been my girlfriend for the last six years, and is a CA by profession. I definitely don't want her to think something's going on between Neha and me."

On the work level Karan is enjoying Saath Rahega Always and has been lucky to enjoy a decent break as well. "The track shows me in the jail, so I have had the time to chill out and travel a bit. I was in Lonavala with a bunch of friends for New Year's, and then traveled to Delhi to meet my folks."
