Amitabh Bachchan retraces his steps

Says a source, "The actor will be once again seen donning the same look (from Namak Halaal) in a dance number in Sujoy Ghosh's film."

The insider adds, "In a peppy single called O Re Sawariya, Amitabh is wearing a white kurta and pink pagdi that is strikingly similar to the one he wore in the Prakash Mehra's film. The costumes have been designed by Narendra Kumar. In this sequence, Jacqueline Fernandes (Jasmine) is trying to woo Riteish (Aladin) while Amitabh Bachchan (Genius) keeps popping into the scene at various points."

Sujoy confirms, "We had no intention to repeat his look from Namak Halaal. It is purely a coincidence but it definitely shows how the actor has impacted our minds over the years through his cult performances. We actually ended up recreating similar outfits wore by him around 30 years back."
