i dont remeber actually
i think i was in school, and we got this book catalog, and i think i begged my parents to buy me the first one, and i read it ofcourse, i was only in third grade, and i pretty much was called the Harry Potter freak , and i took that pretty well. Guess thats how it happened , a book catalog.
after i read the first, i reaally wanted the second one, and the third and so on........... and i must say jk rowling is one of the brilliant authors on earth👏

never read the first two books.. got hooked with the third book...
got confused while reading so watched the first two movies... and the rest is history

Actually when the first two movies came out my sis and I thought HP was over-hyped (we were 6 or 7.....we were immature lol!) and my mom told us 2 watch the first two movies (this was just 2 or 3 months before the release of the POA) and we bought them and watched them and loooovvvvved them....then we read the whole series and saw the movies again and went 2 watch POA opening night and we've have been in love with the HP series ever since...so thank you so much mom!

Hmmm...my story is lyk this...

One fine day,wen i wz in 6th standard& i headed 2wards my school library as per routine 2 return the books i had & issue new books.

I wz rummaging in the rack wen my eyes landed on HARRYPOTTER & THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN.i read its summary & kept it bak wen i saw it wz da 3rd.

I got da books i wanted & asked my librarian abt the 1st 2 books.she said they will get it after a week.

Dat same day wen i got home,i read in the daily kids magazine about the 1st 4 books & dat they were circulating around the world& were getting popular.

As my sis wz going out i asked her 2 get da books if she can,not dat i wz dat interested,bt just lyk dat.she bot them & i kept them in my book shelves.

It wz not until da weekend wen i finished my own set of books, dat i started HP at nyt b4 going2bed cz next day it wz school.

But dat nyt... i didnt sleep.& still had the energy 2 attend school& read it at intervals!! my frends were lyk "oh god this girl is just too much"

but i dint care cuz this wz just BRILLIANT!!

& so, JK became my FAVOURITE AUTHOR!!

I even got a lot of my frends hooked 2 hp just lyk me!! before dat at my school, nobody even knew wat HP wz!!!

I read & reread this book 1000 times bt i still dont get bored!!

I dont know if anyone wud b even reading this...,

Bt HARRYPOTTER books r really close 2 me& m a BIG fan!! oh & i got da other books on the same day they got released thanx 2 my brother!! but yeah HP hz bin a great experience wich i'll never 4get & always cherish!!

i got hooked in a common way. In the 5th grade, my teacher had the class pick a book that they can read together. Its like side reading....and a girl suggested Harry Potter. My teacher had read it and thought it would be a good 5th grade..kinda book for side reads. So we read the Sorcerers Stone and then the Chamber of Secrets.

I fell in LOVE with the books! I started to read them..and then I just got hooked!

My sister was actually the one who got the books..... I read them too and fell in love with the series almost the minute I read the first chapter of the first book..... it's kinda funny because my sister doesn't like the series at all and she never read any book apart from the first one.... but I must say I'm glad she bought them otherwise I wouldn't have read them! :D

i think it was around the release of the 4th film i know its quite late but i dont know i never was aware of hp before that ,ok coming back i saw lot ofpromos making of the film ,interview ,i just got fascinated after seeing all those yule ball stuff so i decided to buy the 6 books and read all then watched all the 4 movies and then yeah waited for the last book ,by then i had became a big hp fan ,especially ron and hermione .,i really started liking theire fights their on screen chemistry and there on i waitied for hp books only for them .there you go thats how i got hooked.

I started reading it really LATE...like right after OoTP (book) came out. Had tried to watch they first movie way before...though didn't like it one bit. Me and my friend had a regular tradition of trading Nancy Drew books, it so happened that she didn't have a ND book and gave me Philosopher's Stone instead, which I, very hesitantly accepted (was put-off by the hype). Read the first book, didn't like it much, but had the curiosity to read the 2nd one, and then after reading Prisoner of Azkaban, I was totally HOOKED. Read all five really quick, one after the another and waited in line at midnight for the last two books:P

I actually got hooked to HP when I was 9 or 10..it was around the time when Sorcerers Stone was about to come on DVD and I had just moved to the US . anyways I saw a promo of the DVD on TV and I was like cool this looks interesting...so I convinced(convinced meaning begged and fought) my mom to get the DVD and she got it and I saw the movie and was in love with it....and a few weeks later my 5th grade teacher was like we're going to read Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone...and she read it and I loved it....ever since then I've gotten every single HP book and movie and have read ALL 7 books atleast 10 times each...and JKR became my idol and Dan became my ultimate crush😳
