I have downloaded Nihira's songs today. She has sung many of the songs very very well. She is as good as the original singers. Be it Usha uthup singing I love u, Asha singing Rangeela or Kavita krishnamurti pyar huva chupkese. fabulous and treat to ears. If she leaves then we will lose the opportunity to listen to few more songs on the programme. Let us hope the news is a rumour.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa - Challenge 2005 - This Week's Synopsis


For Theme Sad songs Himani's performance
Aadesh was not happy with Himani's performance. He said that Himami
was not that good today. Just before her performance, Himani said that
she is thinking about a lot of thing and is nervous because two of her
friends were in the last 2.

Aadesh said that her song today did not touch him, as she sang one of
his compositions. Ismail snapped at this and asked Aadesh not to copy
him. He said that Aadesh only made this statement because Ismail had
said that Debojit's song had touched his heart.

Aadesh said that Debojit did sing very well, that is why it touched Ismail.
Everyone has their own opinion and it is not necessary that if a song has
touched his heart, it will also touch the other mentors.

Vinit's mother
Vinit's mother came to the set for the first time. She said that she did no
come for so long because she thought that if he got eliminated, he would
blame her. Vinit cried and said that he really wants to make his mother
happy and one day he ill give her all the happiness that she deserves.

Vinit got the highest votes, Nihira got eliminated
Vinit said "For the first time he is really sad that a participant is
eliminated. He said he couldn't express happiness about being in the top
4 as he is really sad for Nihira and she is one of his favorite participants."

Al mentors were unhappy about Nihira's elimination. Ismail said that he
prays to god that if it is in his hands then he wishes that he does not die
before he makes Nihira a huge star.


January 12, the Theme is Qawalii
Jatin Pandit of Jatin -Lalit was also on the show as a neutral mentor. He
also gave the participants points.

Hema's throat
In his AVH Hema Chandra said that he was scared and worried about hi
health. He has a lot of swelling in his throat. His mother said that she was
worried as the doctor said these are TB symptoms. Siddhu appreciated all
performances. In his shayarana style he said that Hema is like a precious
stone (paras), which is priceless. He called Himani Jhaansi ki Rani.

Vinit: He called Vinit a hand pump. - 3 feet on the ground and 120 feet
underground.

Ismail storms off the set
Debojit took permission to read an sing. He sang 'Yeh Ishq Ishq hai'. He
did not score very well on the mentometer. (6 & 7). Ismail Darbar did not
like this. He said he was feeling suffocated there and he stormed off the
set. He left the shoo and has left the show. (For the time being)

Jatin and Aadesh on Ismail
Aadesh said that Ismail was very upset about Nihira's outset, just like the
other mentors. He said Nihira is a really good singer and she has just
recorded a song for his film 'Alag', which has been recently picturised on
Priyabnka Chopra. He said that it is possible she will be a big star even
before the end of Challenge.

Jatin also said that Ismail was very upset about Nihira. He also said that
he agrees with Ismail on this. He also said of Nihira and Debojit, if the
audience eliminated Nihira and chooses a singer like Debojit over her,
then he really does not have much more to say. She cannot be compared
to him.

When Debojit's wife's comments were taken she said that he has reached
here against all odds. She started crying and said he is the best. He went
to console her.

you are always more than welcome......& I confess yours were one of the threads I used to search to learn something new.I sincerely hope SRGM 2006 will be get its glory back & you will write many more posts to share many intricate details of music which only a trained person like you can provide....

Someone else also wrote that ID walked out & he might not be coming anymore...lets see & how this part is edited in next SRGMP.
Im looking for the recording done by Nihira for Priyanka Chopra..this is only begining I'm sure ....& blessings and wishes, not to mention with immense talent she has, of so many viewers all across globe will take her to dizzying heights...which she deserves.

Wow! thanks for the heads up MdRoy👏 toh aakhir Nihira ki jaane ka jhatka laga ID ko.....time he realised that he lost a tangible asset in his gharana with her exit & took care of Debu too who can do with a l'il support as well.

I think this realisation of Ismailji is too late Nonny...

deal ya no deal AD....can't say it was better late than never for ID coz it was too little too late.....he could have put his feet down earlier & given Gajji a piece of mind so to speak......it's not as if "temper" is his strong point here .....very often he tends to fly off the handle & shoot off that "big mouth" of his.🤢

HOW CAN YOU PEOPLE BE SURE THAT NIHIRA HAS BEEN VOTED OUT ? ALL OF THE 5 PARTICIPANTS WERE AT THE SALT LAKE STADIUM IN CALCUTTA TODAY PERFORMING FOR THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE.
