Deepal Shaw is back in the news! It's nothing related to 'Kalyug' which has earned her enough fame already. This time it's because of her friendship and closeness that she shares with 'D' guy Randeep Hooda. The duo has been spotted together many a time and caught in moments where both seem to enjoy each other's company. They've also been caught dating together in cafs. Deepal is also getting a leap in personal front owing to her association with him. Randeep has suggested her name to Vishram Sawant the director of 'Risk', in which he is playing the lead. Let's learn the facts fro the Baby doll herself!

Excerpts from the Interview:

Randeep seems to be a special guy in your life!

He is indeed very special because he is a good friend of mine. That is it.

But there is news that the rapport that you both share is much more than that of a friend?

Come on, just take a look at our age difference. He is 29 and I'm only 19. He is too senior to me. I respect him. Because of his maturity he has been like a standing support to me whom I can trust and share all my problems. He advises me with his valuable knowledge and treats me like his kid. There is nothing more to draw anything out of it!

He has already offered you Risk?

Yes he did talk to me about the film. But I'm yet to speak to Vishram Sawant about it. Randeep didn't offer me the film, he just asked if I was interested to do the film. I haven't signed the film yet because I'm yet to go through the script.

Seems like link ups is keeping you busy at the hour. First there was Kunal and now it is Randeep?

My link up with Kunal started when we were shooting for 'Kalyug' and everything that was said and heard about it was false. The same is what is being said and written about Randeep and me. It's some figment of imagination of some media person who has up in arms fallen for me. (Laughs)

Is there a man in your life currently?

No I'm single and free. After I broke up with my boyfriend one and a half years ago during my music video 'Kabhi Aar Kabhi Paar' I've not been in a relationship after that. We were very close and childhood friends.

Getting back to films, Kalyug has received a good response?

I'm very happy with the response that the film has received. This is my debut film and the first film where I'm essaying the role of an actress. It was good to feel appreciated. Also the film has eased me off the burden of the tag of an item girl. Acting has been my passion since a very young age and I did the music video only to bring myself in the world of acting and to get noticed. Industry people are taking me now more seriously after the success of the film. What better compliment can you receive if Govindaji calls you up to say that he has liked your work!

What will be your forthcoming films?

I haven't nodded to any Bollywood films yet. I don't want to make a haste decision. I'm taking my time and going through a few scripts. I don't want to restrict myself to only glamour based roles and would like to indulge more in performance oriented ones. I want to achieve many things in life, I want to be a celebrity, a good actress and also a social worker. This is why I decided to do Drena Di Niro's 'Karma, Confessions and Holi'. It is a right project to establish myself all over the world. I play the role that is just opposite to the one in 'Kalyug' and would also add to my dimension in acting.
