Devyani will have a heart attack

It is my prediction that when Devyani stumbles on Akash's reality , there will be a massive argument between son and mom that will culminate in a heart attack . Gauri will nurse her in the hospital and that will initially thaw Akash towards her . In that sickness , trying to make amends , Devyani will call her lawyer and put everything in Gauri's name .

You just made me realize that both Akash and Gauri want something different from each. Gauri wants love and Akash wants freedom.

Gauri is the most desperate and pathetic female I have ever seen. She knows the kind of girls Akash likes. If she really wants to win him over, she has plenty of role models to follow. I too am starting to soften my initial reaction to him and in fact have more pity for him than I do for Gauri. I am not a hideous irresponsible jerk like Akash, but I understand how he feels. I like to have breathing space and freedom in my relationships. It would drive me absolutely batty to have someone following me around like a sick puppy and constantly bugging me, no matter what their intentions. I want a partner who is independent and can take care of themselves, and this clearly is not Gauri.

On top of that, Gauri could not possibly make herself more unattractive if she tried. Frankly speaking, neither Payal nor Tina are not pretty. Gauri is actually FAR prettier than either of them, but she presents herself in such a ridiculous way that it MAKES them look better than her. Of course Akash is embarrassed to be seen with her...who wouldn't be?

I wish their characters were portrayed in better light. Instead of ripping the birthday card that Gauri gave him, he could've just said "Thank You". Being nice to Gauri, won't mean that he's in love with her. He reminds me of those 7th graders that I tutor. They don't want to be paired up with the opposite gender and in those cases, I have to assure them that they don't have to get married to each other.

If both Gauri and Akash met halfway on their needs, then I'm sure there would be less resent. For a girl like Gauri, a simple "Thank You" or a smile is enough to make her happy. Akash wants his space. In that case, Gauri should keep herself away from him. She has been too clingy ever since the wedding and let's just face it, guys hate clingy girls. If she kept to herself, then maybe he would want her near him or maybe he would sorta miss her a teenie weenie bit.

she needs to speak up and insult akash back and let him no she is his wife and has same status in society he has. and She demands respect from him rather than following him like his slave.
