Seems like it got thrashed by most critics, while some gave it around a 3 stars.

Then I looked at public ratings on bollywood hungama

Its totally mixed! Some ppl gave it a full 5 outta 5, while some gave it a 0.5, lol!

So I think that with teh advance bookings and comic genre and hype, KI will be able to recover its costs, hopefully, just like Golmaal Returns did. In general people liked it, thought it was funny, and enjoyed it, so it made money. But it was thrashed by critics as well.

I dont see this going the Welcome or Singh Is King way though

And HOPEFULLY NOT THE TASHAN WAY!

Most comedy flicks get trashed by critics, but end up doing well at the Box office.

Personally, I like to watch the film myself and then form an opinion. I never listen to what critics say! So I might go and watch the film with my friends.

comedy flicks are never liked by critics..

i'm going to watch it no doubt ..

except a lil later.. Im still in NEWYORK mode right now..lol

ofcourse comedy is gonna be senseless, comedy doesnt come with brains, thats wht makes it funny...

We need comedy movies. We don't want serious movies, life is already serious....LOL We need funny movies to make us laugh because laughter is good for the heatlh.

If KI is going to the Golmaal Returns way... that's the best way EVER. Because I loved GR

I didn't watch KI yet but I'm pretty sure that it's way better than SIK, Welcome Or Tashan

aishu u liked Golmaal returns...it was hardly funny..i mean i barely laughed while seeing GR...it was awful...I prefer SIK and welcome to it..atleast they made me laugh ...but KI is gonna do alott better than GR even...im pretty sure the movie would not be bad even..infact im confident it will make me laugh n hence im planning to go watch it..

n yes i agree wid u aishu v do need comedy movies ...

I guess everyone have their own choice of movies. While SIK and Welcome was giving me a headache...LOL the songs were nice though. I perfer watching Golmaal returns instead, it made me laugh especially when they make fun of bawaariya...LMAO Kareena getting jealous was too funny. I love these kind of comedy, suspecious housewives like Lara dutta was in No entry.

i loved No Entry and Welcome... also liked SIK, less than these two though... and CC2C as well but more than GR... GR is at the bottom of the list for me... LOL...

i agree... we need more comedy movies... i would much rather watch a KI because at least i can get a few laughs... by the looks of it, i'll like the movie... but i really hope it's not like Tashan or GR.... 😳
