I'm disappointed by the rain sequence of Mayur! Mayur are my favourite in this serial, and I really expected alot from their scene... maybe a little nok jhok, Im guessing the running around is cast as nok jhok but you could tell they hardly had any space to run and Arjun was so close to Rati everytime... I blame the director for this...
The scene was extremely hot, and everything... but firstly it was a really really short and if they kept the hand part and the running around toward in one scene the essence of the full scene would of made a HUGE difference... guys dnt get me wrong... I liked it... but there was something missing, something in the creativity of it... the promos had me eagerly waiting for it, but it didn't live upto the expectation it built up from the promo....
As I feel there was room for other aspects in the scene, I interpreted the scene the way I would of loved to see it, or even something along the lines of it, I wrote the scene myself:
Mayank and Nupur are walking along the street, both are feeling a little insecure but loving each other's presence😳 Mayank is about to put his hand into his jeans pocket when his hand clashes with Nupurs, they both feel the touch and it's evident from their expressions that though they wanted that to happen, they couldn't have done... I guess what we really want comes true eventually. Mayank glaces over at Nupur who is a little shy and looks at the ground as if she didn't notice his touch... Mayank smiles to himself, and slowly touches her again... she gasps a little at his second touch, he slowly brings his fingers round till he has a hold of her little finger tight in his clutch... Nupur looks at the ground and smiles!
Suddenly it pours with rain, Nupur is about to run to the shelter, when she realises something is holding her back, and turns back to see Mayank has still a hold of her hand... Mayank slowly lets go of her hand and swirls round in the rain, Nupur standing opposite him just watches him, admiring him😳 Mayank lays his hand out towards Nupur, she hesitates but takes his hand in hers, and Mayank pulls her close to him... she gasps at his touch, even though she has been in his arms many a times before, this felt like the first time ever😳... they slowly move to the tune of the droplets of rain... Nupur looks up at Mayank into his eyes and says ' Mayank... I... love...barrish'😆😉 and she pushes him and runs away... Mayank smiles and runs after her. Mayank eventually corners her towards a tree, and places his arms both sides of her so that she can't run away.. and says 'I love what?' ... they both stare into each other eyes. A strand of hair comes onto Nupur's face, Mayank slowly moves that... Nupur gasps and says 'Mayank... please'😳... Mayank smiles and moves closer to her ear and says ' I love....' Nupur smiles as she thinks Mayank is gonna say the 3 magically words but he says 'I love ... barrish'😆😳.. Mayank moves back and starts to laugh... Nupur is annoyied aand says 'tum tho' pointing her finger at him... Mayank runs, she cases him and eventually catches him and playfully hits him on the chest, he loses his balance and both of them land on that staircase ground thing.... they look at each other seriously as Nupur is still angry, but then Mayank does puts his hand on his ear and asks forgiveness😳... Nupur smiles, and they both end up laughing😳.... they both lay there for a while in the rain... and Mayank slowly grabs Nupur's hand... she's clutches his hand too... they both smile in the rain, lieing next to each other, holding hands!
I exspected something like this... hopefully PD will see this post... but then again this is just my opinoin, you guys are free to your views.... hope I didnt upset or offend anyone.... hope you guys liked it!
p.s. Guys this is JUST my opinion, not the end of the world, please don't take offence... just wanted to know everyones views on the matter, thats why I made the most, from the content of the replies, some people seem annoyied... I apologise if so!
