Before Reading, a warning that it's LONG!!
Some can say that this Play has been a waste of time, and really not needed (and im not saying this is wrong) BUT.. when we think about it.. would all the bonds made between Samrat and Mayank or any other Character happened if it weren't for the play??
at the start of the rehearsals they joined forces when Sammy knew that there was something building up inside Mayank, he became one close friend that Mayu never had. A close guy friend which he had grown up without.. someone to share he's feelings with.. someone who understood where he was coming from..
Sammy realised how valuable Gunjan and his friendship really was, the hardest bit was chosing between the best 2 things in life.. it was between choosing a NEED and A WANT!! the scenes between Gunjan and Sammy were so emotional that at times personally i thought it wasn't needed yet beautifully enacted.. Yes at times Samrats face looked more shocked than sad.. or even heartbroken.. but i loved the chair scene with the rose.. like many other people have said.. it was a very unique and different example of their friendship.. The rose is soo beautiful, yet fragile.. thorns cover it's surrounding to protect it.. it hurts when it gets touched in the wrong way.. yet once that rose has blossomed then it gives so much joy that it's Indescribable.. ❤️...
finally to Mayank and Nupur...
Nupurs confusion n feelings have taken over the once bubbly vivacious girl we knew.. we would have never thought this was how she would have reacted to LOVE.. the girl who dreamed of her raj kumar coming and sweeping her off her feet was no one else than her close friend.. who swept her off her feet..but not in the filmy way she had always dreamed off..
her misunderstandings was the catalyst in making them both realise whether this was actually love or was it jus infatuation. ?
edit:
i did forget 2 people. Tam Ma'am and Dodo.. in the Play he really did show that on the outside he may look like a babuchak... but deep down.. he's fighting away all the sterotypes and trying to become the man everyone knows he is.. and without Tam ma'am this play wouldn't be possible.. she un-knowingly.. created a love-story.. a trial of friendship.. and memories that will never be forgotten.. we can't forget her.. she was the silent cupid.. 😳😳
all i can say is that this confession coming up tonight.. is gonna make all of our hearts skip a beat..and hopefully make us all fall in love again... make us fall in love with mayur or even sajan or even MJHT that we all loved at the start of the show..
and trully none of this would have been possible if it weren't all in the name of Show Business...

👏 Very well said Sonia.
I couldn't have said it better myself. For me, the play tied all the characters in a bond. This play isn't all about MayUr or SaJan... it's about discovering friendship and love. If the play hadn't happen, would Samrat EVER realize Gunjan's worth? Would we get those rehearsal scenes that made our hearts skip a beat? Would we see MayUr realizing they love each other?
This play- like you said- showed us the bond between two men, Samrat and Mayank...who maybe the cool studs of college, but deep down- they're just like you and me. I don't know about any of you, but I am LOVING SaYank's friendship. Compare their relationships from then and now.
And then we got to see the responsible side of Uday 👏 We got to meet characters like Tamanna, Fupi (god how I miss her) and even...Sheena 🤢
This play may have been boring at times, but to be honest, without it, MJHT would not move foreward. We'd probably get some other track. It may have been better but I have no complaints with this track at all. It was an emotional journey, and each character grew a great amount.
Be it Nupur's reality check (from being in prince charming dream land to falling in love with bookworm Mayank) or Samrat...from taking Gunjan for granted to realizing her worth.

And then we got to see the responsible side of Uday 👏 We got to meet characters like Tamanna, Fupishe was one awesome lady 😃 (god how I miss her) and even...Sheena 🤢
