"The greatest pleasure in life is to love and to be loved.."

Mere haath me.. is an extremely romantic song and not many actors, especially on television, can carry it off convincingly. Add to that some far from alluring costumes and an eternal struggle for run time - the task gets even more difficult. But despite everything, Arjun and Rati were so par excellence in their portrayal of the characters that the task ceased being a task at all. Mere haath me seemed to me a love story straight out of a fairy tale; the kind of love that lasts eternally and never dies out... After what seems like eons, I am presently in the kind of mindset that almost allows me to forgive all the flaws in MN's track. Well, this may be a beginning! 😉

My favourite parts:

* The beginning of the verse - mere haath me - I thought Arjun was brilliant there.

* The scene when both are at the makeshift balcony - Rati gets phenomenal by the minute. She was S-U-P-E-R-B.

* The hug - its beyond description or dissection. Mayank was initially surprised and then so clearly ecstatic about Nupur probably reciprocating his feelings. How tightly he hugged her, and she did too, seemed to foretell how they would never let each other go..

* Mayank confronting himself about how things were unpredictable for the first time in his planned life. It said so much about Mayank as a person and to me, it justified so much as well. Mayank tried out those theories on Nupur only to keep his life planned.. he tried to carry over the values he put in his work to his love as well.. but Mayank finally knows that love doesn't work that way.

* Nupur thinking about why she had hugged Mayank. Rati does everything so well - I could feel Nupur's pain and confusion. Sheer brilliance!

What I did not like:

* Putting Sajan in the song for such meaningful lines was a bad idea, in my opinion. It did affect the pace and the impact of the scene and was totally uncalled for. Oh well.

On the whole, Fanaa was magical. I like to dwell on what is rather than what could have been. And at present, love is all there is. Things like reasons, build ups, logic and clothes have ceased to exist.. at least for a while. 😃

Being a SaJanian I thought that MayUr did a phenomenal job in Fanaa! It was so passionate and I loved their emotions. It was mindblowing and their chemistry rocked!

The one thing you didn't like about the song fanaa was that SaJan was in there, I believe those little dialogues suited them best for their current situation. I think that when Kajol in the song said those dialogues Gunjan was feeling them as what she should do for Samrat and then the Amir dialogues were for Samrat showing his pain, but I respect your opinion, just thought I share mine.

But MayUr were amazing today. Loved the hug and they way they moved. It was really great to see a passionate song for MayUr and I loved it! They were really great! 😊

Amazing Quote Debby!😳

Mere haath me.. is an extremely romantic song and not many actors, especially on television, can carry it off convincingly. Add to that some far from alluring costumes and an eternal struggle for run time - the task gets even more difficult. But despite everything, Arjun and Rati were so par excellence in their portrayal of the characters that the task ceased being a task at all. I totally agree Debby! I agee they were some flaws but the hug, chemistry & passion of ArTi really make me to forgive all the flaws in the track!

My favourite parts:

* The beginning of the verse - mere haath me - I thought Arjun was brilliant there. Agreed! His expressions were Amazing👏

* The scene when both are at the makeshift balcony - Rati gets phenomenal by the minute. She was S-U-P-E-R-B. Yeah! The expressions both of them had were totally out of the world.

* The hug - its beyond description or dissection. Mayank was initially surprised and then so clearly ecstatic about Nupur probably reciprocating his feelings. How tightly he hugged her, and she did too, seemed to foretell how they would never let each other go.. The hug surpassed my expectations. The way Mayank held her before the hug & during the hug it seemed as if he would never let her go. It showed that how much he is pining for her. The smile which appeared on his face after he realized that she was hugging him, clearly depicted his feelings. And Rati clearly matched his passion. 👏👏 The hug was too good for words.

btw i even liked the post-hug part where Mayank holds her from behind!😳
* Mayank confronting himself about how things were unpredictable for the first time in his planned life. It said so much about Mayank as a person and to me, it justified so much as well. Mayank tried out those theories on Nupur only to keep his life planned.. he tried to carry over the values he put in his work to his love as well.. but Mayank finally knows that love doesn't work that way. I Agree! Finally he realizes that Love cant be planned. It just Happens. He cant force Nupur into confessiong or for that matter even realising her feelings.

* Nupur thinking about why she had hugged Mayank. Rati does everything so well - I could feel Nupur's pain and confusion. Sheer brilliance! Yes! Her confusion & pain could very well understood from her expressions!😳👏

What I did not like:

* Putting Sajan in the song for such meaningful lines was a bad idea, in my opinion. It did affect the pace and the impact of the scene and was totally uncalled for. Oh well. I agree as well... The only thing i wanted was th second quote to be given to MayUr to depict Mayank's pain. But still i dont mind that as the hug makes me forgive all the flaws. And yeh the 1st quote could only be given to Gunjan as Nupur hasnt realised her feelings yet!

And one more thing is that i wished they would ended Rati's scene, like : "Haan Mayank, Mujhe tumse pyaar hai...par...." ...to show that she understood her feelings.. but...still..

On the whole, Fanaa was magical. I like to dwell on what is rather than what could have been. And at present, love is all there is. Things like reasons, build ups, logic and clothes have ceased to exist.. at least for a while. 😃

Fanaa was purely Magical. And ArTi's Chemistry & Passion were just too good for words.
I didnt even notice the clothes, logic or whether it suited the track or not. The only thing that mattered to me were MayUr Chemistry/Passion/Expressions!😳
