I dont know why these ppl are after him...
i mean okay his remake of don isnt the most creative thing to do on earth but its not because he has gotten into the remix trend thats doing rounds...
its because from his childhood days he was very influenced by this movie and inside his mind he had some ideas about what more and different could have happened to the hero,the Don And in a diff time and space ...NOW that he is a director he's making those lil imaginations incorporated into the remake, and he's doing it now since now its happending and since He wants to give light entertainment to audiance after two thoughtful and intense projects. its called variety.
Not to say anyone can equal to Amitabh but where wud he get a young amitabh bachchan? (even bachchan's parents cant give birth to amitabh 2 nor Javed can give birth to Farhan 2....they are unique , beautiful ppl that come to earth like randomly)... so he decided on shahrukh whom he thought was the next best for the project, give him a break...its not that he isnt making any more creative films after the remake of don.
if this man was into money or publicity he wud have churned out 5 films a year and cashed on his popularity, done all the chat shows that had been earlier offered to him on tv or done any acting but no, he did nach baliye and refused other offers, because N.B interested him, he'd act but in what he thinks suits his taste and in an interview somebody asks him why he doesnt save money by acting as cameos in hsi own films and he answeres - Movies are not something Fiscal but creative at the end, if i have to spend more but i can incorporate what i wnat in my films then so it be...
and recently he said - I'm not here to make a movie a year; nor am I in some kind of business where I just want to keep churning out movies so that my company keeps making profits...
it shows whatever he does is either for creativity or for satisfying a long held dream like in case of don whr he wnated to give and add up his own little thoughts and live his own imaginations through it.
Farhan just make me your script writer...!! and we'd make fabulous films...i'll surely be a nice addition and write whole heartedly and creatively..dear..
