Scene 2
Nikki arrives at Abhi's doorstep, worried about what was gonna happen, What could he want ?, She thought, Why has he called me here at night to his HOUSE ? kahin shaadi wali raat ka repeat tou nahi hone wala hai ? Just as she was about to leave after thinking this, Abhimanyu Opened the door, Soaking wet from just taking a shower, "aap kahin jarahi thee Dr. Nikita ?" He asked
"Nahi woh -- " Nikki stammered trying to think of an explanation as to why she had turned away from the door
"Toh phir kya aap subha ka wait kerrahi hain ? Ayye Andar", He barked at her, Nikita was taken a back for a second but quickly brushed it aside and entered the house with forebodance. Abhimanyu pointed to a table with 2 chairs facing each other,"Betho," He said a little softer than she had imagined, and this made Nikki look up at him in surprise.
His face had some kind of emotion on it that she couldn't recognize, was it remore? she thought, no surely not.. mujhe kya hogaya hai.. concentrate nikita ! waise.. what am i supposed to be concentrating on.. as she thought this she asked aloud, "Abhi-- uh.. Dr. Modi, aapne mujhe aaj yahan per bulaya kyun tha ? " Abhi started explaining," Woh mene-- " He stopped looking at nikki's face, "Dr Nikita, yeh aapke mu pey kya laga wah hai?" He asked sounding a little worried. "Maire mu pey.. ?" Nikki got worried, had she left some powder on or something ? no She wasn't wearing any make up..
"Dr.Modi kya hai mere mu pai?"
Abhimanyu was getting angry "Maire paas in faltu baaton ke liye time nahi hai! Let's get to work Dr. Nikita maine aapko New Sanjeevani ke baare mai baat kerne ke liye bulaya tha"
Nikita was starting to get angry as his reaction as well, "Lekin aapne hee to kaha tha maire mu pey kuch--!"
Abhimanyu nearly shouted,"Dr Nikita agar aapko itni hi fikar hai apne mu kee-" He moved over to where she was and wiped it from her cheek with his hand, but his finger accidentally touched her lips and her eyes shot up to meet his, they stayed like that for a while, a minute, two minutes, half an hour, they couldn't remember, before pulling away suddenly
Niki gasped,"Oh haan, mai abhi ice cream kha ke arahi hoon" Abhi Smiled for a second, surprised at how cute she could be at times before remembering that he was supposed to be falling out of love with her, not back in.
He became stony faced again, "Dr. Nikita," He said pulling her out of her reverie " Agar aapki yeh stupid baatein khatam ho gaii hain tou hum please kaam ki baat kersakhte hain?!"
She jumped remembering where she was and who she was with,"Ha-Haan sir, sorry" She mumbled, and they both sat down and Abhi started pulling out the files they needed to work with.
