Okay wow I'm feeling a bit out of place here, because I'm the only non-hardcore-SaJan fan liking Sameer-Avni here... I do like SaJan though 😊.
I like Avni because I think her character is pretty realistic... There are SO many girls who feel insecurity about themselves with regard to their looks (and how it affects them), even the fantastically pretty women, I know I do too... But the problem is these soap operas is that they hardly address this issue or they go way over-the-top. I dunno, somewhere I like Avni a lot because I sort of relate to her... And she seems to be a pretty witty and intelligent character from the sounds of it. She's modern in her own way, I like that because I cannot box her into the ordinary K-soap behenji type woman... I do hope they concentrate on the aspect of her intelligence and practicality.
Sameer I like, because he reminds me of Preet from KDMHMD, who's one of my favorite male characters ever... First of all, the actor who plays Sameer is very VERY good, I'm honestly shocked at how good he was... I mean, he was a complete natural at it!!! And, he looks like he has a fantastic comic-timing, which is another plus-point in my book because few actors do. What I like about Sameer is his optimism, his way to walk-about problems... his flattery skills 😆... his dreams...haha he almost reminds me of the old Nupur from MJHT (The difference being that he's obviously much more sophisticated anddd uh a bloke, which, not meaning to generalize, does account for many differences in needs and stuff.) He just seems to be a fun character. His character type kind of reminds me of SAK's character from Hum-Tum. Anyways I also really enjoy his interactions with his family and his younger brother!!! He's obviously the prankster of the family, the sibling who tries to annoy all his brothers/sisters/mother. 😆
Edited to add: Okay, wait, you asked for unka milan kaisa hoga... and I've been ranting about how I like their chatacters 😆 lol sorry for going off-topic... Actually at this point of the story, I've NO idea... I've to see the couple before I make a prediction... But just a wild stab in the dark... Avni will definately be interested in Sameer becoz he's fun and charming and great-looking, but she will kind of keep away from him due to her general cynicism of guys due to her painful experiences, the trust factor (as in, how do I know, he likes me for me? or am I just another fling? or is he using me?) coupled with her insecurity about her looks (as in, no guy could possibly like me)... And this, being such a contrast from girls who are easily charmed by him, would intrigue Sameer along with Avni's practicality and intelligence. She would give him an intellectual/mental challenge for sure 😉... And then I think they'd fall in love at the same time! 😕
Anyways whatever the love story may be, I just hope its well-thought-out, well-developed, and realistic to a point, allowing some cinematic liberties ofcourse. And I hope that along with the stories, the characters also develop consistently, and don't get butchered. Okay this may be too much to ask I know.😆
