Yes, I am slightly offended with naitik's mom's and her relatives (especially Rituraj's mother's) conversation. What is with the "we want a gheralu bahu, saral like aks"??? "gheralu"?? 🥱 Are career-oriented women not gharelu?? not "saral" to "fit in" or take care of family? Very much offended by ritiuraj's mother's comment: We rejected the girl cause she wanted to be a 'kalakar'. Kya ghar sambhalegi etc. etc.🥱🥱

Which century do these people live in? It reminds me of scene in swades, where gayatri throws the ladke wale out cause she wants to be a teacher.👏👏😆

I completely agree with you 'persistence', but I think a lot of families are still traditional in this way and won't change their views. At the end of the day, they all want 'gharelu' types not educated, career girls. I think it's important to be a good balance between the two.

Till now in small cities..this is followed..metro cities..have changed their views..but this will take time. A woman is born to be multi-talented..she can handle anything..and balancing is no big deal for her.

Rememeber dadaji, didnt want Akshi to attend college after the alliance was fixed, that is the ppl's mindset there, so obviously, they would want gharelu bahus....but I must confess that the ppl in the city (like me) cannot connect with that and thats y most of us are feeling offended, but may be small towns are still not okay with career-girls and they want only some one restricted to the house :((

Yes; people do have different expectations. I am a bit surprized especially because women are talking as such. I don't get why people would expect a house-maker (nothing wrong if the girl doesn't want to work) or a career oriented girl. Do they want additonal member for cooking/cleaning/taking care of the house or a bread-winner? Such expecatations don't make sense. Girl's wish, whatever lifestyle she chooses. Only want the other person to fit in? how about they adjust if they want to add a member?😆
