How Karan Kundra got his first break on TV-Article

Karan Kundra who plays the lead role in Kitni Mohabbat hain, got this role when Ekta Kapoor was on the look out for new talents for her show. He has sent a 'friend' request to Ekta Kapoor on Facebook and to his great surprise Ekta accepted his request. After which he received an email from Balaji telefilms asking him to audition for the new show immediately. Since he was based in Jalandhar he couldn't make it to the audition but he immediately shot a video of himself on his mobile phone and sent it as an MMS to the Balaji team.

Impressed, Ekta made sure that the next thing Karan did was catch a flight to Mumbai for the look test. And to his surprise he was selected to play the role of lead protagonist.
