| DK Punj, Kitani Mohabbat Hai Satyajit Sharma aka DK Punj is earning accolades for his chemistry with his onscreen son Karan Kundra, better known as Arjun Punj. Satyajit the perfect Papa face is single in real life. Satyajit says, "DK Punj is a flamboyant businessman, who believes in achieving, whatever he has ever aspired for. He had a bad marriage and got separated from his wife. DK brought up his son alone and no wonder, Arjun is his weakness. His son is the only softer side of his persona. Both of them connect at a very human level." DK doesn't think very highly of women and wants Arjun to follow him. Is this justified? "As an outsider, you can be judgmental over the issue and perceive DK as a dominating figure. As a father, I think DK can justify himself. Arjun is his most prized possession and he is just acting possessive. He doesn't want his son to get caught in the obvious trap of a relationship and suffer like his father." Satyajit plays a would-be father in another serial Balika Vadhu. How is to do so many roles in a similar genre? " It's quite liberating as an actor to be split between Vasant and DK. I am living two states of fatherhood at the same time." |
| Hari Prakash, Kitani Mohabbat Hai Virendra Saxena, a product of National School of Drama has innumerous films and television roles to his credit. From an aggressive dad to a helpless father, he has tried his hand at all. Saxena states, "Hari Prakash is a man of words. He is a grounded man who is very close to his traditional values. Though he is a cancer patient, he still supports his kids in all possible ways. He understands them in and out. His daughter Arohi has never confessed her feelings about Arjun to him, but he senses it." Talking about his onscreen daughter Arohi, Saxena adds, "I share a comfort level with Kritika. If you are supposed to perform an emotional scene together, it's necessary to have a level of bonding. I guess the best scene I have shot on the show until now was, when I tell Arohi about her mother. The warmth between us translated well onscreen." |
