In an elegant apartment building on Melrose in Los Angeles, a diverse group of 20-somethings have formed a surrogate family. Landlady Sydney Andrews is a central figure in the lives of her tenants, especially handsome David Breck, despite her history with David's father, Dr. Michael Mancini. Sydney also plays a pivotal role in the lives of publicist Ella Simms, chef Auggie Kirkpatrick, medical student Lauren Yung, filmmaker Jonah Miller, teacher Riley Richmond, and 18-year-old Violet Foster. When a bloody body is found floating in the courtyard pool, the police discover that everyone living at Melrose Place had a reason to want the deceased out of the way.

An updated version of the popular 1990s series, MELROSE PLACE is from CBS Television Studios with executive producers Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer ("Smallville"). Oscar-winner Davis Guggenheim ("An Inconvenient Truth") is the director and executive producer of the pilot.

from all three vampire diaries and melrose place looks interesting to me..dunno why i didnt find the promo of the beautiful like interesting much..n im a fan of Mischa Barton not too fond of the new model in TBL neither the guy whom she falls for 😕

@mz jess me too i wanted IAN to play the good vampire aka stefan but well still there's IAN waiting for his comeback ever since Lost..thats like ages..n the girl is really pretty in VD ..only dont like the lead that much..

i dont know why the guys in TBL all look so not straight to me except for the lead guy

@ krupa..VD is a book .. it existed since the 90's ...but definitely because of the popularity of twilight they r making VD..but not many ppl know VD existed since long time back way before twlight books came out...n twlight looks straight out from this..how can two writers think the same? lolz..the story is pretty similiar ...n im not a fan of twlight but im looking forward to this..the promo blown me away

melrose place looks good..but the selection of the cast dont look too good..the 18 year old girl looks too OMG type..but will definitely watch all 3 n decide

Aha you guys have good memories I can't recognize anyone from the promos .. except Misha Barton and Onna the chics from Melrose Place is on Harper's Island (which I just started watching yest)

and who else is from the OC? I can't recognize anyone elsee. OH in onna the promos .. ahh .. whcih one .. um ... Melrose Place .. ALEX the gardner from the OC wass there ... I can't find him on the poster thoughh .. The guy in the hat on the right in the MP poster looks so familiar!

^^ LOOL yesss DJ you're riighht .. Alex was that chic that Seth sorta went out with and Marissa had a crush on. Got all confused sorry. OHH yeees you're righht he's from SOTP I thought he looked familiar. And yeah Harper's Island isn't so bad .. It's only 13 episodes long they've shown 10 so theres only three more left to air .. It's sorta a murder mystery .. this couple go back to their old town for their wedding .. and invite all their family and friends with em .. and seven years ago their was a serial killer who killed ppl on the island .. and now its happening again .. It's not as cheesy as it sounds .. I just hope they don't make the killer to be someone lameee cuz that would ruin it .. but everyone that I know who watches it has enjoyed it so far :) OH and Pyscho Derek from OTH is on the show and he loooks SOOO good!

I think the main lead in TBL is cute :)
