Ok I have finally found out the qualifications required to become a Balaji creative. Here goes.
1 Shouldn't posses a single creative thought or bone in the body.
2 Should be a crazy fan of all Balaji shows. Esp the weird and nonsensical tracks. The bigger fan your of an idotic track the better your chances of becoming a creative. The weirder your track the better. For eg if you can come up with something like killing off a character by pushing him in front of a lion and then bringing him back in the next episode then you have a good chance of moving ahead in the corporate ladder.
3 Shouldn't have a brain, common sense or any kind of general knowledge esp when it comes to creating characters who work as police officers, doctors and lawyers.
4 Immense level of patience to sit through and watch all the BT shows to get "inspiration".
5 The ability to make an exact replica of a previous BT show. The better the copy the better your chance of being promoted.
6 The sense to never ever cast a male actor who knows his job and can overshadow every other actor. All male leads should only look good and should be able to look like part of the decor. If you cast any male lead who knows his job then you'll be stuck in the same situation that our poor Mansi is facing now.
7 If you are a male applicant then you should posses the capacity to think like a female. If you think like a guy, and have new ideas then you need not apply. BT has had a bad experince with this show. Just see what a male creative with some creativity did to this show. He made a story where both the male and the female lead have the same importance. He created a male character who is so essential to the story that it won't move forward without him. He came up with a love story in which both the partners are willing to sacrifice everything for the other. A love story where nothing can tear apart two people because they are made for each. Look at the trouble BT is now facing with this show. This creative used his brains and made a love story where the male lead was more powerful than the female. That is totally unacceptable and such a behaviour will get you replaced from the show. And poor BT has been trying since Dec to bring this show back to their standards. One senior creative, two creatives and couple of associates have been trying since the past six months to undo this damage.Thankfully they are succeeding
And the most important quality.
8 Should never listen to the audience. Should have an uncanny ability to never understand what your viewers want. Should always make the audience watch what you want them to watch. Should never understand the pulse of the fans.
If you think you posses all the above mentioned qualities then please apply to BT. They will really appreciate someone your calibre.
An imp tip about to remember while working on the characters of male and female leads of BT show:
Male leads: they should always be mama;s boys. They should be able to fall in and out of love at the snap of their mother's fingers. They should never think or use their head. They should always believe their eyes and their mother's words and never trust their hearts. They should always choose to be with their mothers till the end.
Female leads: should be ready to fight the world at any given point of time. Should posses the capacity to become a CEO of any corporation at the spur of the moment. Doesn't matter if they don't have any professional qualification. Infact the lesser the qualification the better. Should possess the ablility to give speeches every two minutes. Should be the moral police. Should be able to interfere in everybody's business. Should be able to cry every five seconds. Should start off as a poor soul but end up becoming Jhansi Ki Rani. Should be able to forget and forgive all her husbands and lovers at the drop of the hat. Should be able to marry umpteen number of times without batting an eyelid.
Health and Fitness
