MEHRA REPEATS 'DELHI 6' PAIR IN 'SAHIBAAN'



Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra of the 'Delhi 6' fame is readying to put the silver screen on fire by making 'Sahibaan' by repeating his favorite team comprising Abhishek Bachchan in the lead male role and Sonam Kapoor in the female lead. Since her excellent performance in 'Delhi 6', Mehra has become her admirer. 'Sahibaan' is said to be a movie full of romantic tales. Interestingly, actor-turned-producer Anil Kapoor's home-production 'Ayesha', that casts Abhay Deol and Sonam Kapoor is also set to roll in June. Rajshri Ojha, who has earlier directed cross-cultural film 'Chourahein', 'Yatna' and 'Badger', will direct 'Ayesha'. The movie is a modern-day Indian adaptation of Jane Austin's famous novel 'Emma'.

While Abhay Deol plays Sonam's secret lover modeled on the character of Mr. Knightly from the novel, Sonam plays the title role of an ultra-modern girl in this film. Sonam will be playing this role for the first time unlike in her two films 'Saawariyan and 'Delhi-6'. Interestingly, Abhay will play a secret lover on screen unlike his real life character wherein he confesses to be an open lover detailing her love to be a painter residing in New York. So, he has got a small place there to frequently use it for familiarizing with his girlfriend though he has no plan to settle down there. By the way, he has an independent place in Mumbai too to mix up with his crowd without creating any trouble for his family.

But yeh...I like Abhi-Sonam but I dont think many share the same sentiments...so not too sure how this'll work....IF IT'S TRUE ofcourse...forgot to add that😛

i really liked their chemistry in delhi 6 they expressed a lot through eyes without any dialogues ,so it would be a delight to watch them again .
