since there are no videos posted anywhere to watch it again, i have tried to write the story as i remember it..........

Hubahu is the story of twin sisters. One a housewife and the other an independent, successful businesswomen.

Aditi and Dilip Kaul live in Pune. Dilip is a professor at the University. They have a son named Siddharth. Aditi is a house-wife stuck in a loveless marriage. Her whole life revolves around her son and her husband Dilip.

Aditi and Dilip host a party at their home. By the time the party breaks up, Aditi is bored and tired. She nags Dilip, telling him she is fed up of the life she is leading with the cooking and cleaning and waiting hand and foot on Dilip and Siddharth. She wants Dilip to get a better paying job in the private sector than the academic, research oriented one he is passionate about. She wants to be rich and lead a more luxurious lifestyle. Like her twin sister Ananya. This makes Dilip jealous and irritated. He complains at the constant reference to Ananya. They argue and Dilip ends up abusing Aditi.

Ananya Sehgal, Aditi's twin, lives in Bangkok.

She runs an art gellery called Artisans. Ananya has just sold an expensive vase to one of her clients. She celebrates the event with her friends. But the vase turns out to be a fake and the man who supplied the piece to her is wanted by the local police for running a fake art racket. Ananya panics when she is informed of this by the journalist investigating the case, Rajiv. Her client, a shrewd woman, asks for the relevant papers to prove the vase is genuine. Ananya discusses the matter with her friend Nina. Ananya breaks down as she sees her world crumbling; her reputation, her social standing is at stake. In a bid to clear her head she decides to take a break and go away for some time. She calls her sister living in Pune. They agree to meet.

Ananya flies to India to meet her sister. Aditi tells Dilip she is going to see Ananya. Aditi and Ananya meet at a hotel in Bombay. Aditi checks into the hotel and asks for Ananya. The receptionist is surprised at her resemblence to the lady checked in as Ananya. Aditi and Ananya see each other after a gap of 10 years. They discuss the happenings in their respective lives. Ananya tells Aditi about the art scam. Aditi tells Ananya about her dreary existence. One night at the bar, they both have a drink too much. And in her drunken state Aditi wishes she could switch places with Ananya so that she too could experience her sister's glamorous lifestyle. Ananya readily agrees. Aditi is hesitant and scared of the consequenses if her husband Dilip finds out. But Ananya coaxes her saying that they have done it many times in the past and nobody would know the difference. Aditi agrees and they decide to swap identities for a week. Ananya leaves for Aditi's house. Aditi sees her off. Just as the taxi is pulling out of the hotel, Aditi stops her. Ananya asks the driver to turn around thinking the plan has changed and Aditi has developed cold feet. Ananya gets out of the car. Aditi takes off her wedding ring and puts it on Ananya's finger. Ananya gets into the taxi once again and drives down to Pune. Aditi flies to Bangkok.

Aditi lands in Bangkok. She drives down to Ananya's house. At home she is welcomed by Mrs. Wong, Ananya's cook. She goes out alone and gets lost. She can't find Ananya's chauffer, Han. A man calls out her name. She runs to him and hugs him, relieved. He is puzzled; she has forgotten her way home, she has forgotten her friends. She asks him if he knows Nina, her best friend. He asks her where Han is. She tells him she has lost him in the crowd. He drives her to her home. She invites him inside. He looks around, interested in her private space. He notices some paintings on the wall. Aditi tells him the artist is her sister. He describes the subject in the painting as being insanely happy. Aditi agrees with him. Aditi is surprised he has gauged the mood of the painting correctly.

It is Aditi's birthday. Her best friend Nina has arranged a party for her. Aditi goes to Nina's house that evening. Aditi meets her sister's wealthy friends, all of whom belong to the glamourous set. The man who rescued her earlier is also present. Aditi finally learns of his identity from the pretty young girl who is flirting with him. His name is Hemant. Gautam, one of Ananya's suitors, puts an expensive necklace round her neck. There is a great deal of drinking and idle gossip. Aditi feels stifled. She leaves the party, dragging along with her the only familiar person in the crowd. Hemant chides her for not telling him about her birthday. He buys her a cake with a candle on it. They celebrate her birthday together out on the streets at night.

Dilip and Ananya attend an official party. Dilip is surprised at Ananya's ability to judge wines.

Aditi asks Hemant to show her the sights of Bangkok. Hemant asks her why she wants to see something she is already familiar with. Aditi tells him that she would be seeing the same things again, but in his company. Aditi goes para sailing, enjoying the sensation of soaring in the sky. She is excited after the experience. Aditi, Hemant, Nina and Gautam go out together. They watch a Thai kickboxing match. Hemant and Nina notice the change in Ananya. She appears vulnerable and therefore more likeable. Nina's cook has taken French leave. Aditi offers to cook, and she whips up an Indian meal. Both have a merry time preparing lunch, throwing flour over each other while making chapatis and dirtying the kitchen. They invite Gautam who is impressed with Aditi's culinary skills.
