Pavithra Rishta - A remake of a Tamil serial

I don't know if you people know this before. But i came to know of this only a couple of days back. I was watching the reruns of the show along with my sister. she told that the show exactly resembles the Tamil serial 'Thirumathi selvam' aired on sun tv. Even the name of the female protagonist 'Archana' has been retained. I was convinced when i saw in the title card that original story was by vikatan televistas, the company which produces Thirumathi Selvam.

I don't get why Ekta had to choose this one to remake. "It's just another crappy serial which tries your patience and increases your BP" opine many of my friends who watch Thirumathi Selvam. Paradoxically that becomes the USP of many serials😆.

We know it is a remake, she bought the rights! This topic has been posted before, PLEASE check the forum before making new repeated topics. Another thing. We happen to LIKE this serial so far! Very much so! Please do NOT make topics whoch may be offensive or hurt other people! This may lead to arguments and bashing. No one is forcing you to watch this serial hun! Hope you understand!

I really don't care if its a remake. I'm in LOVE with this awesome, beautiful and fantastic show. I just wish that the TRPS goes up the roof top for this serial. It is such a good serial, yaar!

Hey peeps! Don't get mad at me. I didn't say that i didn't like the serial. I stumbled upon the show only a couple of days back and and it's too early to form opinions and comment on the show. I just expressed the opinion of my friends who watch the Tamil one. No offence meant. And ofcourse noone is forcing me and noone can. But everyone is entitled to their opinion, i believe😳.

This is the first time ever i visit this forum. Didn't flip through the previous pages, sorry!😳

Good to know that you all like the serial. I sincerely wish that your love, loyalty and craze for the show last long.😊
