69 year-old style icon and veteran actor Feroz Khan passed away in April 2009. Bollywood and India weren't alone in mourning the star's death.
The entire industry congregated to express their condolences on Feroz Khan's sudden demise. But one person who expressed his condolences much after all of India did needs to be mentioned.
We are talking of Asif Zardari, Pakistan President, who recently sent his condolences to Akbar Khan, brother of late Feroz Khan with a letter and a wreath.
Akbar Khan, when contacted, confirmed the news. "Yes, Pakistan President Zardari did express his condolences. Considering that Pakistan is a nation under attack today, it was indeed very touching that Mr Zardari took time off to express his condolences," stated Akbar Khan.
Star Box Office thinks it is better late than never and it shows that Bollywood stars are revered in our neighbourhood.
