I don't know about DM feeling jealous but I feel their family might believe that she hid Kaddu's affair to break the marriage...

I wonder how the creatives will handle this sensitive issue...this incident will make or break the story/serial

I think you're right ....... The family esp Moti-Ben will think & provoke everyone else to think that Santu hid Kaddu's affair , since she wanted to break off her wedding with Shashank.

Shashank shouldn't reveal his love in front of the whole family. This affects not just Santu life, but also Santu & Meghana friendship, M, Rasik & DM's friendship.

Telling that I can't marry your daugther is one thing, but saying that I can't because I love your wife is totally different & unacceptable. If he truely loves, he should keep his love a secret & pray for her happiness.
