A friend of mine, a great dancer indeed, was doing the ditto step... With ditto attitude and passion..

I was really shocked and disturbed. In fact, the entire salsa team was (oh by the way, my friends and I do salsa every now and then for our university)..

it just looked so weird, it was very disturbing... she was asked to change the step...[:S]

Your friend probably did it wrong.
Alisha on the other hand carried it out with grace..
clearly the indian mentality didn't mind it at all so I don't see what the issue is..

It's not the step or how it's done, but how it's CARRIED out is what matters! Your friend might have done the exact step with the attitude and passion, but she wouldnt have been able to carry it out with grace, which is where Alisha made the difference!! I agree that if any of the other girls in DID tried the same step with the same attitude and passion, it wouldnt have looked graceful the way Alisha made it look... 😃

No matter what, you always make sure to find negativity and make negative comments about Jai or Alisha, even though the thread has nothing to do with Salman! Alisha did that step with grace, much more grace than any other girl including Khushboo in DID!! If you think she looked vulgar, I wonder how you would have felt when someone else had done it!!

ALISHA IS D 1ST RUNNER UP AND JANTA IS NOT SO FOOL OR BLIND (SEING HER DANCING STEPS) TO MAKE HER A DESERVING CANDIDATE ON NO. 2 SPOT.

first of all plz donot use all caps as it is against forum rules it is considered shouting at others, also ppl can open valid topics. so plz do not question or call any one's topics stupid. consider this a warning any such future post will result in increased warning levels.

To some people it may appear "vulgar" and to others it may not depending on how they grew up and their background/beliefs, etc etc.

I don't think it was an inappropriate move, it was just a dance step. If you think that's vulgar then what about all the dances that Khushboo has done wearing rly "skimpy" clothes? Seriously...wow.

Bollywood dances are like 10x worse then what Alisha did... I think she did that move really well, it's like her signature move kinda how that L&P thing that Prince does.
