i think they are showing this track to warn teenage kids of the consequences if they fall into the wrong path. And yes, maasa is right...

it would be good for suguna's future if they abort her child.

but then again that would be showing the kids an easy way out for their mistakes. so i think suguna shld have the baby,continue going to school and struggle to raise it. that way ppl would realise the consequences of having sex before marriage.

well technically it wasn't sex before marriage was it
the idea is that by getting kids married then keeping them apart - it sends a confusing signal
so it's a consequence of child marriage isn't it?
while i'm not happy that they're showing htis either - perhaps it is something that needs to be shown again as a deterrent of child marriages?

as for who do i support? while sugna will struggle and it will be difficult for her to raise a child...and an abortion might be the best thing for her in the long run...i think she deserves to have some say in the choice...it's her child...her parents should talk to her about it but it is inhuman to drag her into the abortion

but i definitely agree that the 'solution' of getting her married was bizarre....

I don't agree with some of you that abortion is inhuman. There is a huge divergence in opinion about this. I think it is better to have an abortion than to bring a child into the world who is unwanted or cannot be cared for.

abortion for reasons where the pregnancy is goin to harm the mother in ne manner whether physically or mentally is justified..for example teen pregnancy,rape,etc..so sugna getting an abortion is completely justified coz she is 16 for God's sake..she is pretty much a kid herself..(plus she is an idiot)..maasa's reasons may nt make sense bt the step to b taken makes sense..

i agree tht sugna shud opt for an abortion,if it is difficult for gehna to continue a pregnancy at her age it is more difficult for sugna who is even younger to continue a pregnancy.also sugna herself is not able to speak up for herself to dadisa so how can she speakup for her baby.
