I overlooked your previous question about whether the previous serial showed Valmiki suggesting that Sita return. He didn't, but he did tell her that the people of Ayodhya needed to be made to repent for what they had done, which is why their singing would be needed. He also assured her that her sons would be united w/ their father, and she'd get to see him again, and that seemed to satisfy her.
Thanks Chandra! The above one definitely seems a better portrayal of the same situation, instead of asking her to return to Ayodhya. Obviously she never would bcoz it was her own decision to leave Ayodhya. And if she did, it would have created more talks, did Valmiki not think of this?
