Manager goes to Neelambari and talks to her (muted dialog). An SUV drives up and stops at Chandra's house. Neela gets down and stops a minute at the door, then goes into the living. Chandra comes downstairs and sees Neela and stares at her. Neela goes to her and asks her if she doesn't recognize her and if she needs proof that she is indeed Neelambari. Neela tells Chandra about how Chandra was care of platform and how she cheated and murdered to have these wealth and status. Chandra says even now Neela is a fugitive and if she calls the police she will be arrested. Neela is not afraid and says all the wealth Chandra is enjoying is still in her name and and Chandra only has a POA. She says she call cancel the POA anytime and where will she be.

Neela tells Chandra she is not interested in taking back the wealth from Chandra but want her to return Aish to her husband and family. Chandra says Aish is her daughter and immediately Neela asks is that why she had kidnapped Aish and put the blame on Karthik's family? Chandra is shocked to hear this. Neela tells she knows about Chandra and how she thinks. While talking she hears Aish banging the door upstairs and crying out. Neela goes upstairs and brings Aish down. She tells Chandra, Aish is going with her and will be united with her husband and if Chandra tries anything, she will have to face consequences.

Neela takes Aish in her SUV. Aish looks at Neela and says how she looks so much like her Ranjini akka. Aish continues saying she had always seen others scared of her mother and this is the first time, seeing her mother afraid of Neela. Neela says not only Chandra will be afraid to see her, even the name 'Neelambari' would terrify her. Neela takes off the wig and it is actually Ranjini. Aish asks why her mother is so afraid of hte name Neelambari and Ranjini says it is because of all the bad things Chandra had done and does not want the secrets of 25 years to come out.

Chandra at home is fuming and thinks for a long time. She then calls the inspector and tells him to kill Karthik. Inspector hesitates but Chandra entices him with a lot of money. Inspector turns to look at the cell where Karthik is lying covered in blood and unconscious. THODARUM.

Kannan comes into a very quiet home. He looks for everyone and notices Aish's room open. He runs inside and finds her missing. He runs out calling for Selva and Chandra. He sees Chandra by the window and tell her Aish has run away and why she is quiet. Chandra says Neela has come and taken her. Kannan says it might have been Ranjini posing as Neela. Chandra says cannot be because Ranjini does not the things Neela said. Chandra also says that Neela has been here for 6 months and had been watching her. Kannan says, now Aish will go back to Karthik and live happily with him. Chandra says that will not happen as the inspector has been told to kill Karthik. Kannnan says it would have been better to kill Neela instead. Chandra takes out a gun and gives to Kannan asking him to finish Neela and the inspector will take care of Karthik.

Manager takes Neela to Sathia's house. He stays back while Neela goes into the house. Sathia sees her and calls her Ranjini and asks her to come in. Neela just looks at him with tears in her eyes. Sathia continues to ask if she had seen Aish and if she was in Chandra's house or elsewhere. Neela calls him 'anna' and Sathia stops, turns and looks at Neela. Neela asks why ishe calling her by another name. She has come after so long and is he not going to welcome her. Satia is unable to believe his eyes and asks if it is true that she is alive. Ranjini tells him about the fire in the hospital and how she was saved by a lady there. The family had taken her with them to Singapore and she lived there until six months ago when she returned.

Sathia then tells her he had thought she is Ranjini. Neela asks who Ranjini is. Sathia tell her it is her daughter that he saved from the fire. He did not know her whereabouts until a year ago when he saw her photo in the papers because of some case. He tels her Ranjini was a Customs officer and he had come to town to get her out and he did and since then he is under her care. Neela wants to see Ranjini immediately and Satia tells her she will be back soon and gives her Ranjini's photo. Neela is overwhelmed when she sees the photo.

Satia tells her about how he told everything about Neela andhow Chandra had cheated them. Ranjini had started to work for Chandra to take revenge. Neela then says she has spoke to Ranjini over the phone and had told her not to call when she heard of her employer Chandra. Satia asks how and when. Neela explains that Ranjini had saved her daughter Manju and then had called a few times to chat.

Satia asks if Neela had remarried. Neela explains that Manju is the daughter of the lady who saved her. The lady dies in an accident and from then, she had become Manju's mother. Neela says she tried to contact Satia but he was not at his village. Sais explains he left the place when he had thoughthis sister had died. Ranjini says she never came back because she thought she has no living relatives. She says Manju is her reason to return to India.

At the police station, one of the constables wake Karthik up and tells him to do what hte inspector says and not to fight back.. Inspector tells the constable to get Karthik ready and put him in the jeep. Once Karhik is in the Jeep the Inspector drives away. Ranjini and Aish arrive just a few minutes late and run towards the station. THODARUM.

Ranjini and Aishwarya come to the police station and find that inspector is not there. (avaruthaan appovE un thambiya kootikittu pOittare, director ungakitta solla marandhutaar) They ask the constable there who answers without any care, saying inspector must have gone on some work. Aishwarya tells him that she was abducted by her mother from the beach and was kept a prisoner in her house. Saapaadu kooda kudukkala Sirnu. (unna andha roomla adachuvekka avanga patta kashtam avangalukku thaan theriyum) The constable asks her to say all these to the inspector on his return. (Repeat eh!! )When Ranjini keeps arguing with the constable Aishwarya goes to the cell and finds karthik missing. They make a hue and cry - the constable says the inspector must have taken him to the court. Ranjini and Aishwarya hurry out of the police station, just before getting into their car, another lady constable waylays them and tells where Karthik has been taken to by the inspector and the reason behind the task. All this is being watched by Kannan mama, who promptly calls Chandra and tells her what an "emaandha sONagiri" she had been, that it was Ranjini in Neelambari's get up.

On the way Ranjini calls up Sathymoorthy and tells her all that she found out. Neelambari is with Sathyamoorthy and after enquiring where Ranjini is heading to he says he would be there. Takes Neelambari along !

Aish keeps crying on the way and Ranjini keeps pacifying her. And Neelambari is worried, Sathyamoorthy pacifies her.

Inspector asks Karthik to get off from the vehicle, Karthik is reluctant but is forced to. After Karthik asks questions, as all stupid inspectors in the serials do, the inspector tells the truth, that he is going to shoot him in an encounter. Karthik starts running, Ranjini and Aish come there. Ranjini tries to stop the inspector from shooting Karthik, Karthik seeing Ranjini comes runningback (haa...orey senti...grrr...) Ranjini asks him to run away (serial madaiyan evanaavaadhu sonnadhu kaypaanaa). appadiyum ippadiyumaa kadaisila there is a dumeel sound. All faces are shown with shock... s..l.o..w..l..y.. ranjini turns and looks at her right shoulder... she is shot..
